I've tooken it to the dealer but they said they didn't hear anything so I went ahead and took audio and I am giong to bring it in next week sometime. I just want to go in there knowing what is wrong or atleast an idea so they can't tell me they didn't hear it. Thanks for the help

On the video you can really hear it around 22-25 seconds

Noise at 10, 17, 23, 49,

Lol, didn't even notice that. So, anyone know why it sounds like a submarine?

Bump

It almost sounds like a peice of tin rattling..Maybe something in your exhaust? could be a loose bolt holding the tin manifold gaurd on?

I know the perfect solution if you cannot find anything loose..turn the radio up =)

Thats what I've been doing but its just annoying me cause I haven't figured it out. If it was something loose wouldn't it do it all the time though around the higher rpms? I've only heard it around 1,500 when its about to shift out of 1st and very rarely at 1,000 when accelerating. I appreciate the advice i am going to look at it tomorrow and see if anything is loose, if anyone else has anything let me know. Thanks

Sounds to me like a loose exhaust component vibrating at that certain RPM... like either a heat shield or loose flange. I know there is a TSB on some of these trucks for exhaust system noises.

You should have a professional look at it. Also have him check your blinker fluid...it may be low.

We're just having fun with you... I usually ask the new parts guy for a radiator hose for my 1967 VW beetle.

As for your noise, I have never heard anything like that.
