Loving my truck now more than ever!! I wanna thank Matt_ for giving me great information & advice.

This site has steered my truck into mods I'd never thought about doing. Thanks everyone!! :)

Got my tires installed Thursday & my truck was too dirty the past couple of days, so I washed it last night. Got too late to take pics & of course when I wake-up this morning it was raining. So I was like hell with it, gonna take the pics in the rain haha.

The tires ride very smooth & have great traction in the rain from Thursday. I was quite impressed with the aggressive tire pattern & how smooth it rides. First set of Cooper's I've ever had. The tires did rub when I had my splash guards on, but since I took them off, I have ZERO rubbing!!! But its very close. Also, installed my HID's in 6K on Tuesday. No one has these wheels around here so thats why I went with them!

Sorry for the pics aren't too big, couldn't find my actual camera.

Looks sharp dude! Those wheels and tires really set the truck off. That's about how close my tires are to rubbing.

Damn dude...that looks fantastic. I plan on getting the same wheels and tire size in November. I am going with the Nitto Trail Grappler MT's though. The Coopers look really nice on those Spy's. Do me a favor and post a before shot...always nice to compare. If you can find a similar angle, that would be great.

actually ... jordan i need you to do me a favor.

if you could, use a floor jack(s) to raise your truck so the fenders are about 42.5" and snap some picks. you might not be able to get the front that high without the tires coming off the ground. if thats the case, just let me know how high it measures.

thatll help me determine if im going to level my front or not next year when i get 305/50s :)

You could do me a favor too, download google picassa and use the export function and make them about 1280 pixels in size, that way we can see them :) Looks good man.> Congrats.

I don't think I can raise it that much off the ground, but once I get a chance I'll measure it. My driveway isn't really level at all.

thanks!

Still thinking about doing a BL. I gotta clean my frame up & repaint that. I hate looking at all that rust! Any tips on how to do that? Thinking about making my brake calipers Red. & Removing my pinstripe.

You sure it's rust? When I first saw my truck on the lot, it had a layer of mud on the frame that looked like rust, I thought it was rusted like crazy, it was a reddish brown color. It had 18k miles on it. If that's what it is, hold a high pressure HOT water on it at a good car wash and it will come off. It takes awhile, you have to hold it on the same spot several seconds. Looked like it was from driving on a gravel road a lot at high speed with that red clay. Even after I went over it, you could still see spots (about like yours looks now) and have to go back over it several times before it looks black again.

But at least on the back wheels, buying a set of wheel well covers for $90 from the dealer would not only cover the frame, but the gap from a body lift. At least for a 1.5". With a 3" BL you might have to get a little more creative.

I think your right about that, it does have that muddy rusty looking color. I'll go outside later to make sure. What type of paint do I need to make that black looking again? & do I need to sand the whole frame first or what?
