Anyone know the scoop on incentives for the 2010 Models. The last round ended 11/2

Thanks!

For my area code (46123) this is what I got from GM

Total cash allowance of $1,000.00, or, for qualified buyers, we are offering an interest rate as low as 4.9% for the 2010 Chevrolet Silverado. The length of this contract is limited. Please see your dealer for details.

Same as last month

I don't think there will be any big incentives for the 2010 models due to the number of 2009's on the lots. I bought a 2009 GMC last month with rebates/cash back of $6500. Dealer found me a truck 250 miles away that qualified for the extra $2000 cash back which was a deal breaker for me.

I think the next round of incentives will be on the leftover 2009's, but I could be wrong.

what sucks is that from what I understand, if I order a new truck from the factory, the only incentives I am subject to are the ones in place at the time I take delivery, so depending on how long it takes them to make my 2500 Duramax, when I order it, I could get lucky, or I could get screwed.

and if you order a diesel you may want to do it soon too as gm is placing restrictions on diesel orders as whatever engines they have already built by years end are going to be all they will have for the first 4 months of the year as they need to change everything over to produce the new engines meeting a new emission standard for 2010 here comes urea injection can't wait to see how much that crap will cost to fill

Why will urea be more expensive?

urea is in a seperate 5gal tank that has to be refilled every so many miles and you don't want to let it run out it should warn you well ahead of time but if the messages are ignored and you do run out it will kick the truck into limp mode untill refilled and thats means max speed 5mph
