Due to some unforseen circumstances, GM-Tech will not be able to answer all, if any questions for the time being. We wish him the best through this time in his life.

We're extremely sorry to those who will not be able to get their questions answered and we recommend going to your local dealer with any problems that arise of serious nature. Anything else, we encourage you to post in other sections of this site and use the search button as nessessary.

I hate to see postings like this .... not because we can't get our questions answered, but that there is obviously something going on that is pretty serious. Hope all goes well whatever the situation may be.

Can we ask what is going on with GM-Tech? If not, I fully understand..... some things are better left on a personal basis.

The "stealership" comments had nothing to do with it. Around the first of the year I went to my doctor for some pains in my stomach. I'll cut to the chase... on February 10th I underwent an 8 hour operation to remove a tumor from my duodenum. I was in the hospital for 10 days after that. So, I'm still recovering, but doing a little better every day.

Having your life threatened really gives one a whole new perspective on things and sitting in front of a computer answering what seem like trivial problems in comparison isn't as much fun as it once was.

So I'm visiting more and more, but my heart's just not in it quite as much. Maybe that will improve as I do.

I can relate GM-Tech. I've had 3 spinal surgeries in 4 years and still have many problems. Then I found out the degenerative disc disease is getting worse so I have a "defective" spine so to speak. Needless to say I'm on disability and am going through some issues myself....though it could be worse...I could be in a wheel chair!

Take care. As we've both found out....without your health you have nothing (or not much).

Couldn't have said it better myself mmmikkke, I agree!! Hope things do get better GMTech.

I have also had some "revelations" in life lately.... not personal sickness or anything, but I have seen quite a few people around my age die lately (most to accidents, not health problems). I have started to evaluate things that I should really "worry" about because you never know when it might be your day. I'm trying my best not to stress about the little stuff anymore .

I'm pretty new here, but I know what you mean about "life changing" circumstances. My little girl got ALL Leukemia at 18 months and my life was changed forever!! She is now four and about 10 months off chemo(doing GREAT!!!) but I will never forget the feeling I got when the doc broke the news. Get well, GMTech- and we sure appreciate your info, no matter how trivial it seems to you. Expecially us dumb monkeys...bruce

Just getting over a life changing event myself. It gets better with time, friend... honestly, it does..

Makes those sunrises just all that much prettier, doesnt it? That was the big thing for me... Sunrises.. Means I made it another day, ya kno?

Ive never been a religious person... to me, "god" is what you make of it 'inside' yourself.. My god isnt necessarily what other peoples' god is.. You just gotta grasp onto something thats important to you and hang on..

for some people, thats religion... and thats fine.. for some people its family.. thats great..

But, whatever.. 'grounds' you... keeps you thinkin.. keeps you.... wanting to be around... grab it... and hang on.

Whatever it is... grab it.. hold it.. and dont ever... Ever... let go.

From one survivor to another, you know what ya gotta do... just do it.

With the current trends in GM Repair work, excessive WARRANTY repairs that don't cover a technicians time, etc...I know some of us TECHS could use some extra BUCKS...lol

As we have termed it at work..... it will get you a "mental raise" . When the boss comes around and thanks everyone for their hard work, we call it a mental raise (because your pockets won't see a thing).
