    This is how I protect my undercarriage. I just won’t drive it if it’s calling for rain. I drive my Civic to work due to it getting much better gas mileage. I guess I’m to picky but these things are expensive.

    My 52k sticker priced RST Z71 ended up being 41k out the door but I did get the First Responder discount of around $750. Very happy with my deal.

    My 3 week old RST Z71 listed for 52K, out the door was 41k but that did include the GM first responder discount of around $750 I think. Deals are out there. Good luck.

    My White RST Z71 has the black tow hooks but I want them red like yours. I’d like to have more black in the Z71 bade also but I’m afraid to try anything with it myself. Your truck looks great as it is.

    If your considering doing a ceramic coating either by a pro or a DIY job wait till your done adding stuff that takes 3M tape like an Aeroskin bug shield or even Chevy OEM mud flaps. It will flat out not stick then it’s a big ol pain to get the ceramic removed enough to get tape to stick.

    On my 17 Z71 there was one screen that showed when it dropped to 4 cyl. My 2020 Z71 supposedly drops down to two cylinders or 17 various configurations but is there anywhere that actually shows what it’s doing?

    I will give you a glimmer of hope, my 17 Z71 had the shakes very bad at 70-80 which I couldn't test drive at that speed to find out before hand. They ask me to wait till I had 500 miles on it and let them road force balance them and I'm happy to report I'm shake free. Good luck to you.

    It seems like this would be a selling point but I found my Apple car play by messing with my radio, mine is a Z71 17 with the 2LT package. No reference to it having it anywhere.

    Apple car play works great, no way I would spend a dollar on onstar or anything else. I can take a pic in the morning if anyone is curious as to what it looks like on the screen. Another plus to it is Siri will read you your text and you can respond without touching your phone.

    Just got mine back from road force balancing, they didn't even bother with a before or after test drive but I hit interstate after that were done and it's smooth as silk, like it should be. They did say the tires were out of balance. We shall see if this last.

    Well I totally agree with you but I'm going to jump through their hoops, get a paperwork trail started and see where this goes, I'm real close to 500 miles and it will go to the local dealer early next week, they admit they have seen the issue and want to fix it.

    Well I'm glad you got to enjoy 6000 shake free miles. I wasn't able to go over 60mph during my test drive two weeks ago and it's smooth as silk. The first weekend that I had it we hit the interstate and I really think it would shake itself apart if I drove it very much at the 70-72mph mark. A local dealer is going to force balance the tires when I get a bit over 500 miles on it. After all I have read I don't look for it to be fixed, hope I'm wrong though. Good luck with your issue.

    I'm in the Abingdon, Va area. Did you get a resolution to your problem? Is there a dealer you recommend in my area over Champion? Thanks for the info.

    Guess I will add my truck to the list, sadly. Picked up a new 2017 crew cab, short bed LT Z71 last Saturday, could only test drive to 60mph and that was pushing it bad in that area. I hit interstate yesterday and the shakes start around 65 mph and by 70-72 it's BAD. I called the dealer, largest volume dealer in TN and the guy said to bring it in after I got 500 miles on it but he's never seen one truck with my problem, hard to believe. I go this Sat and already requested a loaner until mine is fixed, my dealer is an hour away so it's a pain.

    Wish you had this on so I could see a pic and see what you think. I hope to get to order mine Monday. Btw, great price you got, they are back to over $900 now.

    Care to say what that would run if I wanted the same cover in white also? Also how waterproof is it?

    My local dealer flat out won't fix mine, even with GM involved. He did say the cab and bed has to come off to get to it all. Said to take it to where ever I got it from. At this point I don't want a brand new truck stripped to the frame as I know it would never be right and my only problem is rust so idk what to heck to do?

    The Emergency brake cable is another good one to follow for a few small wires, that's how I did my FD emergency light.

    This is just one of many spots on my new 2014, has 1000 miles on it. Not even been driven in the rain yet. Will the TSB that's been mentioned take care of this? Do I need to get it to a dealer or call GM?
