  1. National average is now up to 60 cents difference between regular and premium. A 20 gallon fill up will net $12 extra dollars. But if you get better mileage while on premium it almost becomes a moot point. 1 mpg is about 7% better mileage. Premium costs 18% more. So really it’s only ~$7 a fill up for premium gas and better performance. If you can’t afford an extra $7 per fill up, maybe you shouldn’t have gotten the 6.L? . That’s my opinion anyway.
  2. But yet people are on this site claiming left and right that CAI and exhaust give them huge bumps in power and mileage? LOL! I just don't get it. You either want the power or you don't. Why spend the $2500 on a $55K+ truck but then try to save $5 at the pump each fill up? That makes no sense at all.
  3. The seats are firm, but I find them very comfortable. Soft seats are really bad for your back and posture. Maybe make sure you're using the lumbar support? And if the edge of the seat is cutting off the circulation in your legs then you don't have the seat adjusted properly.
  4. Right, a 2500 will never ride soft and smooth like Caddy. Like elcamino said, put some weight in the back and it will settle down a bunch. But the 2500 is designed to carry a heavy load, so the suspension is very strong and therefore stiff.
  5. Denali? Don’t they come with MRC? Does it have 22” wheels. That might be the problem.
  6. I was unhooking my boat trailer last night after a day on the lake and I was pleasantly surprised to find that there’s an led light on the tailgate that illuminates the whole back of the truck. Very useful!
  7. A lot of trucks are showing up without some of the features and GM gives a $50 to $75 credit depending on the feature. When I was shopping for my AT4, I noticed that new 1500s were coming without the following features: HD Radio Rear Heated Seats AFM/DFM Auto Start/Stop Wireless Phone Charger Technology Package (HD Surround Cameras & HUD) My truck was a Feb 2021 build delivered on 8/28 and it had everything installed. I think new builds just will not get these features. I believe that the safety package requires the technology package as it uses the surround cameras. The other thing that appears to be on restraint are some of the assist steps. My truck didn't come with any and I can't find any that I want anywhere.
  8. I actually read on another forum that these steps have already been discontinued? Anybody know what's going on?
  9. 84630474 = Sierra Crew Cab 84630475 = Sierra Double Cab These are hard to find right now. My new AT4 came with nothing and I need something. I prefer going OEM so I'm looking for these or the older off-road steps.
  10. Buying a CAI to improve fuel economy is a waste of money, unless you drive at WOT all the time. I agree with the first response, the OEMs do everything they can to improve fuel economy. If there were easy gains with a replacement intake they would have already done it.
  11. It's not really double the cost because you go through the tires half as fast. The only additional cost is the second set of rims - maybe $400-$600? On a $60k truck. Well worth the cost.
  12. Anybody have luck getting it replaced under warranty?
  13. Lo Jack won’t slow them down but will help the police find it quickly.
  14. I just traded in a Denali for my AT4. We like to drive up to Colorado in the summer for vacation and winter for skiing. I used the 22” Alenzas for most of the year and then 18” Duratrac in the winter time. They were 3 peak rated. The Alenzas will get you there, but the snow tire just brings a whole different set of safety and confidence. Well worth the extra $$$ in my book. If you can afford the Denali you can afford a cheap set of dedicated winter tires. My 2 cents.
  15. I wonder why you can’t seem to order these from any place online?
  16. I do have the HUD but it’s much higher on the windshield. I’d say about 2/3 of the way up. The HUD is in the lower third. I did do a quick light cleaning of the window with just a towel. Maybe I’ll try again with some actual chemicals and some better elbow grease and see if that helps.
  17. So I’ve had my AT4 for about a week and I’ve noticed that there is a slight visual distortion right in front of my field of view while driving. There appears to be a slight wave or ripple in the glass. It doesn’t bother me while looking at close objects, only far objects. It makes them blurry and wobbly as I look around. Anybody else experience this recently? I plan to ask the dealership to replace it under warranty, but I’m not sure how receptive they’ll be. Thoughts? Thanks.
  18. The backs serve very little purpose. I put mine in the middle. No back and my son can buckle himself just fine. The middle is safer.
  19. Nice. But my kids would destroy that Amp. Where did the harness connect to for inputs?
  20. I think they’re trying to clear out the 21s before they pump out a bunch of 22s.
  21. You have to enable it in the settings menu first. Very useful feature. I just haven’t been able to reposition and save the new position like on my 2015 Denali.
  22. I luckily found my new AT4 at a dealer last Saturday. It has a build date of 2/21. Came off the truck on 8/27/21. It has everything it’s supposed to have (S/S, DFM, technology package, rear heated seats). Most of the newer trucks don’t get those things due to the chip shortage. I suspect they’re trying to deliver all the 21’s sitting in the lots so they can move on to the 22’s.
  23. Are these still available?
