  1. Any update on this condition? My truck has it...as well as the loaner that I am in.
  2. Not yet. I'll let you know if it manifests itself. Only have about 400 miles on it so far.
  3. Send an email to: [email protected] Tell them you just bought a new Silverado. Provide them your name and VIN. They replied with build sheet in an hour. I have SU5 axles, btw.
  4. I hate GM. Why do they make things so difficult?
  5. Look inside your glovebox for your RPO codes and see what radio you have. Post a pic of your RPO codes here if you want. It's the "DNA" of how your truck was built. The codes are on a decal in the glovebox, or at least should be. I haven't checked with the 2019's yet.
  6. This thread states that only IOS radios can be upgraded to NAV. Don't know if that's true or not. I suspect that the IOR will not support / recognize the NAV software. These guys may know: https://www.whiteautoandmedia.com/
  7. I don't know if the IOR system can be upgraded with just an SD card. Check out this thread...
  8. So, like the original poster I was given a 2.7L turbo as a loaner. Actually was hoping I would get one to try it out. 2019 CC LT short bed 2.7L 2wd I am genuinely impressed with this truck. I think the relative light weight of the short bed / 2wd set up plays really well with this engine choice. If you aren't going to tow big weight and just need to haul stuff around, this may be the motor for you. It's buzzy for sure...but the turbo makes a cool whistle sound (blowoff valve? Does it even have one?) and once it's spooled the boost is kinda fun while it lasts. Fuel mileage is great, and I even returned 28.5mpg once on my commute home! (35 miles) With any luck, the aftermarket community will have tuner packages for these trucks to get even more power out of them. Would be fun to have one with over 400hp for sure. Don't know if they are tuned to within an inch of their life or not to get the 310hp out of them now, which leads to questions of the longevity of these engines. Time will tell. But I have to say I am enjoying my time spent with this little guy and really think this is a good option for people that don't need or want the V8 It also will come with a good sticker price over the V8's, and I am sure there will be additional discounts at end of year to clear out the remaining 4cyl trucks.
  9. Thanks, I appreciate it. She's a big girl... Already have tonneau cover and steps on order. Need to update my avitar...
  10. Well...traded the '14 in, which was a GREAT truck. I never experienced the new model year issues that others had with that body style... But there are things the T1 body has that you cannot mod into those trucks (interior cab size, AC vents, etc) So, here you go: 2019 RST CC Std bed Z71 with convenience pkg II. Good mix of options.
  11. These things look awesome in all black. I can't wait to see them in person. A tad disappointed with the HP numbers... but do realize that the weight savings will provide a bit better performance. I wonder if they are planning a mid-cycle power bump after they get other things sorted out.
  12. So, I was bartending last nite, and a regular customer came in with his Escalade...first time I ever saw it and it had the lit door handles. I was like, "ooohh...there has to be a way to adapt these to our trucks..." If I had to guess, I knew it was you that was going to do it...
  13. I also want to give props to Phil. I wanted functional DL3 mirrors and Phil helped make that a reality. I have a 2014 Silverado LT. Wiring harnesses arrived quickly and the work is very professional. Harnesses look stock. No hack job here. Once again, THANKS PHIL. Worth the money! Dino
