  1. Here’s a great video sent to me by a mechanic buddy of mine, even something at the end for all you haters too. Sent from Above
  2. There was a recent post somewhere with a poster response was that he’s had engine problems and later said one of his future mods was going to be a supercharger, really? Wonder why you’ve got engine problems, stupid is as stupid does! Sent from Above
  3. Your proactive maintenance has a lot to do with your vehicles longevity, using top tier synthetic motor oils like Amsoil and Redline lessons the wear and tear of your vehicles components between oil changes. Majority of people in here look at buying “Good Enough” oil just to meet factory specs which is NOT proactive towards longevity of your engine. If you want to live longer then your diet and life style shows it, same thing goes for your vehicles. It’s turning into a Zoo in these forums caused by those who hate to spend money on their $40K-$60K vehicles, using only what’s to specs required and later blaming the manufacturers for failures. Some failures are the manufacturers responsibility but most are the owners. Using top tier fluids WILL prolong the life of your vehicles, made a difference for me. Sent from Above
  4. Sorry you’ve had so many issues but it’s the 14-15 models that have had most all you’ve mentioned. You haven’t seen the issues in the F150 Forums, lots of issues front to back. Even Toyota has its issues as well, hence massive law suits, more like pic of the draw with each and every manufacturer. Sell yours and get an 18 cheap with GM extended warranty, never buy first new engine and transmission that comes out as you’ll be the guinea pig with them all, always buy within last two years of running model cause they’ve worked out most of the problems by then. I’d recommend changing your oil more frequently, no more extended oil changes, 5K miles max and use top of the line oils and Wix XP filters. Sent from Above
  5. Ok. But, can someone “PLEASE” explain how raising the rpms will save fuel?? Sent from Above
  6. Maybe they meant Performance mode in a tuner? Higher RPM’s would be more fuel consumption which is why additional gears were added to transmissions lowering the rpms. Or, to each their own [emoji6] Sent from Above
  7. Wouldn’t “sport mode” mean higher rpm’s and if so, what happens to motors that run hard? Sent from Above
  8. Where did you find them and are they real sheepskin? Sent from Above
  9. That’s a good looking truck! Sent from Above
  10. I change mine out for this every 10K miles Sent from Above
  11. Ok, just thought I’d warn you, good luck
  12. Avoid Optima, they’re garbage! Get an Odyssey, excellent batteries.
  13. You guys are focusing solely on powertrain differences, Dodge may have given you some good experiences while being a GM owner but it’s far more than this. I don’t want to beat on Dodge, or any other manufacturer but it goes far beyond drivetrains, it’s about everything else as well, body, trim, interiors, safety recall issues, past safety issues, customer support and one of the biggest is the ability to easily personalize with lifts, tires, and so much more and last is just the way business is run and how the employees are treated which says a lot about how a customer is treated. It’s one of the best things about this country, Freedom of Individualism, wish the best for all Dodge, GM, Ford and even Nissan and Toyota. God Bless The United States of America and all those who stand to defend The Constitution of The United States of America! Let Freedom Fly!
  14. My last one was a 2008 King Ranch 4x4, Trans problems. There’s good and bad in all, reasons why we have so many Consumer Protection Laws ;)
  15. Nope, I’ve had a few, had some engine and trans problems but not bad trucks at all.
  16. Exactly, IMHO, some people are just at awww when something new comes around with great marketing but as I’ve stated, dressing up a monkey doesn’t change what it is, it’s still a stinky monkey lol. Duramax is King with Excellent built motors and Allison Transmissions.
  17. I bought a 2500 Dodge Laramie Cummins some years back for the motor. Truck was by far the worst put together vehicle I’ve ever owned and I’ve owned lots. The truck was falling apart, literally. Had the injectors swapped out at least 6 separate occasions on the Cummins, constant overheating issues, huge pc of crap! Two years ago a buddy bought a 3500 to pull his large car hauler, both axles broke, they freaking broke! I don’t think any of the auto makers should be put on pedestals but for God sakes, please stop thinking that Dodge has magically re-emerged from the depths of Hell to take the lead in reliability, never going to happen. The only thing positive I’ve heard is the interior is more plush, as nice as plush is, I didn’t buy a truck to fall asleep in. Give it another year or two and you’ll start hearing more negatives about these new dodges than you can shake a stick at. Go check the Dodge forums, you’ll see lots of negatives. You know what they say, you can put a suit on a monkey but it’s always going to be just a monkey.
  18. There’s not one truck maker out there that doesn’t have any problems or any recalls. Even the untouchable Toyota and Honda’s have fallen. Dodge reputation has the worst resale value and though they may have smoother running transmissions, they’re still dressed up junk!
  19. That’s great, I’ve heard of that oil but never went beyond hearing about it. Amsoil has impressed me so much with its ability to a actually change engine noise and its ability to protect the engine from wear and tear during oil change intervals. I live learning of out of the box companies. Amsoil is my oil but thank you for posting.
  20. Really, currently running 323’s, any recommendations?
  21. Most likely, same tech schools, Discount Tire is a fantastic company that I’ve brought my daily driver and exotic toys to throughout many years with zero issues.
  22. I assure you, a college degree is not required to change oil or change a tire lol. Sounds like you’ve got it all figured out
