  1. Wow, you just post anything, in anybody's thread, without providing any help.
  2. I was running a Wix version of the FL1A. Now since I have so much crap under the hood with the supercharger coolant bottle and pump, the vacuum canister, both oil catch cans, I have the trans filter mounted on the cross brace near the brake booster so I run the Wix 51516. I just throw a zip lock bag under/on it and unscrew it when its time to change. Prefill a new one and let her rip... Keep in mind, I'm not running a bypass like you are, just in series. I tapped (cut and flared the ends) into the line when it comes out of the radiator, and before the cooler built into the condenser. That way the fluid is a little warmer before filtering. I don't know if that's good or bad, but it works for me.
  3. I've been running that Derale kit for 2 years, with the thermostat deleted for over 2 years now, with no issues. I change the spin on filter every other oil change, so 10,000 miles. I also welded a bung and plug onto the transmission pan for easier fluid changes. Will be doing the 60,000 mile fluid change pretty soon.
  4. I deleted mine a couple of years ago. AFM is turned off. I put a vacuum canister Tee'd off and I'm running an extra check valve inline from the supercharger snout 1/2" port to the brake booster. Had some work done by a dealership a couple months ago. They saw what I did and how well it worked, some of the employees copied it for their trucks. In fact one of them still has AFM and with the vacuum canister, it works as well as stock. Checked with a vacuum gauge.
  5. Thats way too much for a 2014. Id sell you mine with less miles for less than that, and mine's superchargered.
  6. Good to know. I have the TVS1900, pullied to 10psi. Looking to do a small cam, lifters, rocker trunnions, headers and a bigger cat back. Probably going to have to drop in a LT4 pump and injectors at that point.
  7. Thank you. And that's a straight forward swap in? No other parts needed? Does it have 6 mounting tabs? Flex plate drilled for all 6? I know, lots of questions...
  8. I wonder how many dumbass threads like this one are posted on this site? What oil? What trans fluid? What tires? What filter? No wonder all the good members, with good content, hauled ass from here...
  9. I've had a couple people with 0 posts send me messages. If you have 0 posts and are trying to sell me ******, you're a spammer, and fork off...
  10. Any of you guys that did long tubes, have a stock 2014-2018 stock 6.2 y-pipe laying around that you're willing to part with? I'm in Lancaster, SC, about 45 mins south of Charlotte, NC.
  11. I'm running Cognito's. Seem pretty beefy, no problems yet, keep them greased.
  12. A gentleman on YouTube did it. You have to run the 6.2 springs as well, he lists part numbers in the video. I think it's a 4 part series. Check out his channel, lot of good info on there. Not sure if he's on here or not...
  13. OP, Carguts in Blacksburg, SC has a few 6.2's for $3750.00. Get on car-parts.com, enter your search criteria, and you'll find what you need... Good luck.
  14. Have to run a line from the booster to a vacuum source on the intake, and/or catch can/vacuum canister. .
  15. Yeah, it works well. I did mine last year.
  16. I never found one, so I made my own. Welded a 3/8" bung and use a plug.
  17. I was planning on deleting the vacuum pump before I bolted on the supercharger. I was planning on drilling and tapping the intake manifold in the back. Screwing a NPT to barbed fitting and plumbing it to the brake booster. I just never got around to doing it. I think you should do it, I bet it'd work great...
  18. When I bolted the supercharger on, there is an extra 1/2" port on the side that's not used. It's original intent is for hooking up vacuum to the brake booster. Qwank, on this site, gave me the idea. I bought the threaded plugs for deleting the vacuum pump. Cut the belt off, unbolted the pump, screwed in the oil plugs. Ran a 1/2" vacuum hose from the 1/2" port on the supercharger to the brake booster. I also Tee'd a vacuum canister into the line as well, incase there wasn't enough volume from the supercharger port. Works perfect, can't tell a difference in brake pedal feel or pressure, from stock.
  19. I got my letter yesterday, threw it away. I don't have a vacuum pump anymore...
  20. The only way to get proof, is someone needs to buy 2 of the same trucks, put a catch can on one, leave the other one stock. Drive both the same amount and the same way, put 20,000+ miles on both, then pull the intakes off and take a look at the valves. Until then, it's a pissing match and the thread/s blow up and people get pissed off either way. Shrug...
  21. Yeah, I have the driveshaft for the truck, why would I post otherwise... U-joint is a 1415 AAM, nothing special or weird about it, has the same bearing caps as a 1410 and 1350, just the cross section is different. Can get them from Denny's driveshaft for $23.
