  1. NOT ALL TRUCKS lol. Seriously though I've been cringing and waiting wondering if this will happen to me over the last couple days. Here it's been 2-8° F the last couple days, but no drama with my truck so far. *knock on wood*
  2. no need for the capslock in the title of every thread...
  3. They are still DOT approved. They are as roadworthy as just about any aftermarket wheel you could put on there. That GM sticker is pretty meaningless. It does prove the point that GM isn't selling you two sets of wheels and then stealing one though. In any case I eventually gave up on them.. to put them on the '19 I'd want to spend a bunch refinishing them to look good, and that retro look is going to look way better on my rounder/smaller GMT800 Denali than it ever would on the T1. Went with 20" CK805 Denali wheels instead. Smaller wheels give more sidewall so they're better for winter and offroad use while still leaving room for a BBK. Similar but slightly different look from the polished aluminum HC Deluxe 22s.
  4. Uh-huh. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=726135 I asked around at dealers since I wanted a winter set but no one local would sell them, they all insisted they had to be returned although rumor has it they're supposed to be destroyed. Just a core charge either way anyway. You can get them on eBay though.
  5. Lol you came to make trouble and now you're all sensitive about the trouble you got. That's how trouble works man, relax.
  6. AFAIK all 22" wheels ship separately to avoid damage in transit, they did for K2s also. Those black wheels are "transit" wheels, and the dealer is expected to take those tires off and remount them onto the regular wheels shipped separately.
  7. In all seriousness it's hard to take you seriously when the only person ranting on the thread you complain about ranting in is the guy with only one post.
  8. I think all of this has been said above, and sounds like you've already started some of this too. Step by step this is what has typically always worked for me: 1. Document everything as clearly and concisely as possible. Fill out that accident report. 2. Call your own insurance and get on the record with them regarding what happened, get them the video, etc. Make sure your story is consistent. This way they are not surprised if they get a call from the other party claiming its your fault. 3. Call the other party's insurance and initiate a claim with them. Provide them all of the same details and video evidence. Make sure your story is consistent. This way they are not surprised if they get a call from the other party claiming its your fault. You can technically make your own insurance company do this, but it's your truck and your time, it's just more important to you. 4. Get to the body shop ASAP, get documentation for what needs fixing and costs. Make sure it's consistent with your story as well. Send this information to both insurance companies. 5. Check in periodically with both insurance companies and remind them of their responsibility to resolve this ASAP. When you step up and initiate everything it goes a long way in your favor from my experience. Insurance companies don't like having to explain for their customer who hasn't contacted them and refuses to return their phone calls.
  9. Mine were at 45psi, but I got 22s so I assume the dealer is responsible after remounting the tires from transit wheels. Little bumpy but handled better in corners! Seems like the kind of thing PDI must cover anyway? It's likely your dealer is either the one who did it or they are sloppy in their PDI.
  10. "Ride better" is highly subjective as well. 18s Might be more "less bumpy".. on flat straight roads with bumps. 20s will be less nauseating in corners. To each his own really. For winter I like more sidewall protection, for summer I like more road feel and better cornering. Here's mine with the 33"/22" HC Deluxe wheels and Alenza no-seasons and then with 33"/20" CK805 Denali wheels with Duratracs (still have to get new Chevy centercaps lol)
  11. There are a bunch on Amazon, I went with this one just because it was cheaper: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076ZL2KDG
  12. Yes, currently the '19s are all "1" VINs. I have to admit this was attractive to me as a buyer before they move to Mexico, but take it with a grain of salt really. Ft. Wayne is merely where they are assembled. It's still not a very American vehicle. The leaf springs on mine declare in pretty large letters "MADE IN MEXICO". I didn't look at the window sticker much honestly to see what % of the parts were sourced where. I'd wager the Camry is still more American than GM products. -Daver
  13. Yeah, I picked one of these up last week. It works fine on my MY19 with the 433MHz sensors. -Dave
