  1. Would you say they're good enough not to bother getting towing mirrors when I get a 2020? I'll probably pull a ~24 ft travel trailer a handful of times a year.
  2. It seems strange to me that you can get leather in an LT (or RST) but not an SLE or Elevation. Isn't GMC supposed to be higher end than Chevy?
  3. Per your earlier comment, looks like they've come up with a redesign for that harness, so others should be able to have confidence they can buy a 2.7T and not encounter that same issue. It's just too bad GM wouldn't fix it right for you. The other reason I'm (now) waiting for 2020 instead of letting me dealership push me into a late build 2019 is so I can get the 10 speed. Maybe they'll pair that transmission to the 2.7 eventually too.
  4. Sorry for contributing to the off topic-ness. Can't remember if I said it in this thread or another one but, if I were going to buy a brand new engine like the 2.7T, I'd give them 2 or 3 years to work out all the kinks. I'm looking at a 5.3 with DFM and I'm still waiting until 2020.
  5. Nope. I love the sound and so do all my friends who've ridden with me. It's naturally aspirated, though.
  6. The 4-cylinder in my car sounds amazing.
  7. I'm in Canada too. It certainly feels to me like we get less of a discount, even aside from the exchange rate but, like I said, maybe I just suck at buying vehicles. Lol 25% would also be higher than what most guys in the U.S. are getting, based on what I've been reading on here. It's interesting that the build and price website doesn't show an Elevation trim or package on the Limited.
  8. I didn't think you could get Elevation on a Limited. 25% off sounds pretty aggressive for Canada but I probably get ripped off when I buy vehicles.
  9. Don't the F-150s also have issues with the rear windows leaking?
  10. If I were going to buy a 2.7T, I would give them a couple years to work out the growing pains of a brand new engine.
  11. Note to self: to avoid excessive wear on the fuel pump, don't open the driver's door when just getting something out of the truck.
  12. That is surprising since I was under the impression that the LT TB is closer to the RST than the LT. So I would have thought they'd be more likely to restrict the lift on the RST, rather than the LT.
  13. From what I've read, most guys on here like the monotube Ranchos on the TB. It's the twin tubes on the other Z71 models that are causing complaints.
  14. You like it? Fits there well? Doesn't slide around on you or anything?
  15. Thanks. Sorry, I only skimmed the thread and obviously missed that.
  16. I suspect this is a stupid question but how did you get the cup holders/storage area on the floor? The pictures on the Chevy website don't show it. I was considering a 2020 SLE so I can have the 5.3/10-speed combo without a bunch of other features (and added cost) that I don't want but I don't know if I can live without the centre console. However, what you have there looks like it would work for me.
  17. Those of you with the jingle, when did it start?
  18. Maybe it's a problem with my car but no matter which vents I have blowing, it will switch to the floor vents when I accidentally hit the auto button. I want my face cold, not my feet. I assume you can still have two zones going even with manual air conditioning.
  19. My dog is very good but excitable and he loves people. I can't imagine trying to manage him while shopping for groceries or whether else in a busy store. What do your dogs do when you go to work? Church? Etc.
  20. So am I an idiot for waiting until they're offering 0% financing on the 2020s then using my Preferred Pricing Discount to get invoice plus 1.5%? A lot of the prices I see here have to be lower than invoice but I haven't really heard of anyone in Canada getting those types of deals.
  21. I have yet to drive a vehicle where the brake pedal isn't closer to the driver than the gas pedal.
  22. I thought you needed the Advanced Trailering Package (part of Convenience II, I think?) to get those, but I could be wrong about that.
  23. I asked my dealership to try to find me a new 2018 with max tow. When they couldn't, they tried to get me into a 2019. I told them I'd rather wait for the 5.3 / 10 speed combo in 2020 and they kept saying "2019 was a big redesign, I don't think they'll change anything for 2020." Like, do I have to show you the press release from GM back in May?
