  1. nah it stopped.....have 7600 miles
  2. anyone seeing 10k off new silverados...is laura still benchmark for discounts sadly my 2500 is just bit too much truck so back to 1500 for me, been looking at Ram and chevy but i really want bucket seats and RST is only way to get them now....and seems pricing is higher.... one positive is my 2500 is worth what i owe and i didnt put any money down so basically i just rented it for almost a year
  3. mine did this a few times last week....i have 2500 but still same electronics i am sure, with all technology comes glitches i believe
  4. issue i have with spacer kit vs coilover suspension lift is the travel of the shock......on adjustable shocks you dont lose much if any compared to spacers.....and on some you gain travel, suspension over spacer 100% of the time for me seems most people end up there anyway after messing around with a few spacer kits
  5. it will be plenty.....it has alot of range, if i set it to top setting i feel like i am sitting on roof of my truck...the steering wheel is telescoping and tilts as well.....idk if they do in custom
  6. sorry man i dont want to lose my setting, took me forever to find it......not the easiest trucks to be comfortable in, but for sure its minimum of 1.5 inches in height and probably closer to 2" and seat goes way forward.........i also have 2500 so am not sure if its exactly same as 1500s but sure feels like my 2019.......you can go sit in any new truck with power seats it will be same, doesnt have to be trailboss like Transient said buy LTZ or HC and just throw factory lift on with your choice of tires.....or sell your stock LTZ wheels and throw on TB wheels (moneywise a wash)......the lifts on these are really basic not much to them and run about $1700 installed if thats the route you wanna go.....
  7. that doesnt look right
  8. Had 19 RST 1500 and now a 20 2500 LT...(same interior)..either the seats are really low or hood is exceptionally tall, the power seats go up probably 1.5"s maybe 2" at highest setting...cant imagine anyone needing it higher.... one of the reasons i didnt get a custom was seating without power was too low...she should be fine with power they do have riser kits for manual seats that raise it 1" i believe...if thats only issue.
  9. had no idea you could do power seats in a base model sierra
  10. yeah i finally got it to go through....trade in was higher than instant cash value for me, i do know about chevy dude and thanks.... trade in was 42-46k with middle of 44k ICV was 41k I know 2500s are in high demand atm
  11. how far off is instant cash value vs trade in value.....everytime i use instant they never give me a number, they say bring it in....its a brand new truck for petes sake!
  12. every single time it works out like that, lol
  13. So you can just turn the cone?.....which way for down if you find out would be helpful GMC adjustments are higher up and use phillips.....there is vid showing GMC
  14. You can buy chrome pieces that snap on to the black vent bars (or whatever you call them).... If will give LT same look as LTZ i believe
  15. both i believe and depending if it was complete new motor or just top end....
  16. you can absolutley, no reason whatsoever......i would keep your longer cv shafts obviously its spacer level/lift kits that are specific to TB or non.....if your still using existing shocks it matters if not it wont
  17. nah, just i was gonna get TB in 2019 and looked into what a TB was.......tons of threads on here about them, i ended up with RST which i was gonna do a KING lift on but went different route i would just sell my stock wheels to recoup cost of new wheelset and put a reputable lift and shocks on there, 1 and done and truck rides, works perfectly.....cheap route rarely works out....not using 4WD auto is HUGE red flag.....youll end up with a good kit eventually, just depends if you wanna buy 1 or 2 cheap ones first and make it more expensive than doing it right first time....i totally understand and have done it that way, live and learn type a deal.... but yeah if you scrap out stock susp you have std silverado (without shocks obviously)....
  18. yeah trim wouldnt make huge difference..... mine in city is pretty bad but it loves the highway......8mpg around town...on highway ive seen 22mpg but avg 18-20 have LT as well
  19. i had a 2019 RST 5.3 and now have 2020 2500 6.6 gas.....i get around 11mpg avg in my 2500 and 8mpg in city.....my 1500 was i believe 16 or 17 avg and 13 in the city.... i was driving alot more highway miles in my 1500 at that time and my 2500 has been more city....... its noticeable for sure and if i dont hit the hwy for awhile i burn thru a tank pretty quick 2500s like momentum.....keep it moving and its really good 22mpg is my best on hwy with 18-20 being avg they do not like stop and go so depends on your area and type of driving you do
  20. Having longer cv axles would be a good thing not a bad thing for lifted truck But yeah take out stock TB lift you have stock silverado platform to work off of.......most good lift kits will give you new shocks, UCAs, diff spacers and block anyways....not cheapest route but certainly a better one i would think for life of truck, ride quality and performance.. Think it may be company's that are combining their spacer kits to the standard/TB existing kits is the issue.....thats why some say not for TB if its meant for standard silvy (using existing suspension) a complete kit shouldn't matter cuz your replacing everything....
  21. scrap out shocks and block and throw std 6" lift on there......remove the shocks and its standard silverado, has lifted strut in front to get the height......you can just get whole new kit with shocks, no waiting.....sell stock kit on ebay for someone who wants to lift their standard truck....though they wont have longer cv axles, but they arent crazy expensive.... combing 2 lifts kinda seems idk.....a bit mickey mouse....just a thought anyway
  22. seats are really low in these trucks....i am 6ft and still it would be an issue if i didnt have power seats
  23. go to the next setting.....if it really is lower
  24. i thought the high country and LT trail boss had 10spd with 5.3? OP: yeah i would really check out RST or LT before you choose custom.....not that you wont like it but this site is FULL of threads where custom owners are trying to add features that come stock on both of those trucks, its always more expensive to do interior later and sometimes it cant be done at all (steering wheel)..i myself came really close to getting a custom but went RST instead.......if you like TB look its fairly simple to do and GM sells kit either way good to know b4 you go..... at least custom has storage now on console, lol
