  1. I used seal light, but there are quite a few out there
  2. I did the same thing......much much better hard to believe a 65k truck doesnt have LED lights, lol
  3. thanks, yeah i dont really care which closes or opens faster as long as they both do, ill check manual and also the link above if it goes that direction.....
  4. So my passenger side mirror wont fold all the way.....Even since it was new, I saw the way mirrors folded in I thought to myself it was kind of weak and slow and would probably not last long. I just had that feeling, 5 months later sure enough the passenger side wont close all the way.....My issue, is I know I can take it to dealer to have it fixed for free but if they put same crappy gears or whatever back in its going to be same thing.........is there another solution for this? I cant imagine mine is only one or even the only year for this to be a problem.... is there an aftermarket version that is better than OEM?......i hate going to dealerships, for anything and really dont want to go back for same issue later on.
  5. yes quite a few places i have to avoid in so cal but i dont mind really.......park and go inside isnt really that big a deal and usually its faster here .....our drive thrus are packed especially IN n OUT
  6. EVERYTHING is a negotiation in car sales, even rebates, incentives, etc..... have received incentives that i for sure did not qualify for......supplier, leasee, costco without ever qualifying.....so they have some tricks they can pull if motivated
  7. yeah i got mine to open with a thin metal bar and some pressure to pull forward and up for the latch back far enough to release it.......same as above hasnt been a problem since.....now one of my power folding mirrors wont close
  8. where did you get full center console from?
  9. am kinda shocked that 3500 payload is only couple hundred pounds more than 2500 in alot of cases.....thought it would be significantly more for some reason.....guess since a 1/2 ton to 3/4 ton is huge step so figured it would be another big step to 1 ton....
  10. they are very firm no doubt.....maybe good for longevity but not so much for comfort....
  11. really like GMC (almost got one and wanted it bad)..that hybrid rim was only reason.....i wish it was all machined or all black
  12. thats my feeling.....if they offer it for sure its good for them as they are in business of making money......and dealers dont have any exclusive right to extended warranties, whatever they sell at profit can be purchased by you individually......for alot cheaper and yeah buy it when you need it nots when its a brand new truck thats covered
  13. correct and no nothing but what they sent plug and play......been months and no issues and lighting is way better than stock fo sure.....am sure there are plenty of companies this is just one i went with....but everything works perfectly and lighting is almost identical to my 2019 RST that had LED from factory
  14. you can get them from any insurance company right, the dealer just marks up the crap out of something you can buy on your own and GM uses a 3rd party i think anyways......i would shop around for warranties and see what comes up
  15. I feel the brakes are weak considering what they are designed to haul and tow.....my 1500s brakes were much better I do believe GM has kit though idk if its just for 1500s or 2500s as well....am sure if you reach out to braking companies they have something....not cheap though But yeah the brakes should be alot stronger imo....
  16. I bought my truck on April 31st, and year b4 on July 31st.....got great deal on both, idk if it would have changed whole lot....they seemed pretty eager though
  17. I was offered 41k for my 2020 2500 HD LT gas 2wd with 6k miles.....I was highest offer from a corporate buyer....my sell price was 41k when I bought it....of course I would have had to eat tax and fees.....so I just kept it Keep checking other places to sell....
  18. have no idea.....my first GM truck besides 1500 i had few months
  19. i have a 2020 with rear slider so far so good .....6 months and plenty of water has been thrown on it so maybe just lucky idk and i did know bout this issue b4 i purchased it but wasnt horribly concerned......usually had good luck with new vehicles and even the 8 spd in my 2019 RST worked fine and there are ton of problems with those as well
  20. i dont think ben sells the coilover conversion kit 2500s only the shocks.....you need some welding done and a bracket but the rear isnt coilover anyways it has leaf springs......with enough money am sure its possible BDS sells a coilver kit for front and am sure KING has a kit as well......you need upper and lower control arms and a shock tower welded on and obviously the shocks......they are supposed to ride pretty sweet but yeah expensive deaver makes spring kit for rear to smooth it out a bit
  21. well i have had mine loaded enough times to realize these shocks are about same as the 1500s....super mushy with no rebound dampening whatsoever....when its empty the springs give it a firm feel but load springs up with weight and i can feel how mushy the shocks are.....2500 loaded feels identical to my 19 RST.......so these babys are going buh bye i have about 600lbs in bed which makes it feel like a stock 1500......also have had close to 3k in payload just other day and few more runs of 1500-2500 lbs in bed.....my brother just put bilsteins on his new 2019 and loves them.....he is fairly mechanically inclined and knows more than avg joe about suspension and how it works, etc.....will be my next thing to do
  22. i just did my 20 2500 and i realie this is 1500 forum but there was no grease from factory....i had 9 up front and sure 1500 will have lot less but if you have em grease them cuz factory didnt
  23. yep..... and cant rely on companies who sell these or shops to tell you its bad idea.....if their telling you dont use a standard feature on the truck that is a BAD sign......50k truck with $600 spacer lift makes no sense even if it is mall crawler.....get geometry right and truck will last, drive better and stil look "cool"
  24. did my drivers and passenger 1 shade lighter than factory back windows.....cant remember if its 20 or 35%.....also went ceramic as it wasnt much more
  25. i do not believe you can as there is no harness to connect too.....seen a few threads posted about this already for 1500s and 2500s (?) but i believe it was for both....2021 maybe different and i could be wrong but something tells me i looked into this b4 i bought my 2500, and swayed me to what i have......i do know there has been a few threads and should be easy to find though
