thats first chevy tailgate ive seen.......was looking at all kinds of new 2021 1500s and not 1 of them had new tailgate......they did nice job with just bowtie.....i dont mind chevrolet across the back but whateves

yeah HD trucks are slim pickings.......thought about trading mine as well, similar to yours, but i dont have 4wd.....only issue is we dont get tax credit on trades and i have to pay TTL again on new truck....ugh!

MSRP should always include freight.....dont think ive ever seen one that didnt, pulling a hat trick on you.......even pricing online ive seen always included freight.....they usually hold back addendum stickers but not destination

.look at all parts related to steering componets....i didnt really know where they were but i just looked for them and knew theyre were 3, i found them fairly easy.....pitman and idler arms......maybe someone has a pic......my first HD so bit different

I dont want wheelbase of an 8ft box in CC...too long for beach cities.....I bet in cubic feet its probably pretty close to a Ram 8ft box

yeah i have the HD radio and premium info system just no navigation ( Nav is unavailable on LT models)..... i want center console anyway so thats a wash, so good to know you get both wireless and nav...

couldnt find it on my Silverado......does anyone know?.... EDIT; pretty sure i found it on silverados, its bit tricky and way down as housing is much lower than years past.....

i remember seeing this and just few weeks ago i bought a grease gun and i checked my truck........almost dry, nothing to speak of....there is one zerk with coolant or AC hoses were blocking me from getting the fitting on there so ill have to find another way next oil change......so i got 8 out of the 9.....think i used half a tube or more (some wasted from not being squared up to nipple) but still..... are there any other zerks for driveline or etc i need to be aware of BTW: my brother just bought a 2019 HD and i told him about mine so he checked and same deal.....almost completely dry

the standard bed is 6'9" vs 6'4" on GM vs Ram......its deeper, wider, and longer....plus has better tie down locations......was HUGE for me in buying a new truck.....idk much about diesels but everything ive read or seen says Dmax and 10spd are flawless....the GM does ride really nice for HD truck....and GM reliabilty is typically better (not always but generally)......Ram does have nice interior for sure and truck is more than capable.....i like 12" screen, layout and storage on Ram but other stuff was more important to me plus I just like the look of GM truck better, and 8" screen is more than enough....Ram front end bugs me, lol.......to each their own, either will do

yeah i dont think price difference is much unless you get duramax in HD.....i went from 1500 RST to LT 2500 and MSRP were almost identical..... the 1500s usually carry higher rebates and incentives, maybe not right now idk...... its always better to have more than enough than barely enough, not sure if that applies to you.....the more basic the truck the better the towing capability usually.....i guess you would have to make that call but these new HD trucks are TALL, really tall.....if you think 1500 can do job comfortably than it should be fine......5.3 is good but maybe go GMC to get 10spd in more trim options i believe.....6.2 have heard is awesome ive never had one but did have 5.3 in 8spd....while i didnt really have many issues it did clunk in lower gears but that 10 spd is suppose to be butter in any engine configuration.....i would get the 10spd no matter what if i went back to 1500......decisions, decisions

ive heard you have to use instant cash offer as a guide.....cannot use retail or private party givemethevin was willing to pay the most for mine....carmax was 5k less and i cant remember what carvana was but i think it was still 2k less.....ive heard it being totlly flipped around in other areas where carvana or carmax was better option so just depends.....

you know whats funny is on my 2020 LT 2500 if i use the fob to try nd close it it doesnt close but you can hear a click inside the tailgate......like it wants too but its just disabled or something......on 2021 LT has this feature now i wonder if it can be added to 2020.......sure seems like the feature is already in there just needs to be engaged.....but maybe not.....its only $180 from chevy as an option so that means its a $20 part, lol

mine were made for halogen housings, i used a wall and pretty identical on cut off though obviously much better......i didnt get the crazy high output lumens some advertise......very happy, and havent been flashed once which kinda confirms the wall test i did so fwiw......

i reset them per manual and all is good.......they made a loud popping noise so just fyi, manual says totally normal

those duallys have lot more......a gas version prolly 6k plus for me its payload not towing, at least for now

they should have the metal gears.....Its just the game, they make the most on higher trims and totally see why, profit to cost ratio is 10 to 1....whateves, I could tell from day 1 they wouldnt last, just looked so cheap/slow way they worked.....whole day wasted taking a new truck in for something that shouldnt even be a issue in first place....
