looks exactly same as my truck

have a 2020 LT 2500 and it has most of stuff HC has aside from cameras, leather, diesel, and probably few other small things....MSRP is 30k difference between this and mine....and i just scratch my head and think, thats almost another brand new 2500 WT so .....and i love nice stuff, but damn 30k i just dont see it.....

just buy out of state....and drive it back.....tons here do all the time, pretty common in this day and age

i too came from a 1500....a dbl cab RST to crew cab 2500 std box....the box is 3 or 4 inches longer and cab probably 10 inches or more......have an el pollo loco (only fast food joint close by) that my 1500 barely made and wont attempt it with 2500....but yeah you learn what you can and cant do.....flipping u turns is another one....even on bigger streets i cant make it from left turn lane i have to use fast lane if no traffic.....i alter my routes a bit to certain places but humans are incredible at adapting to various things it is what it is.....and while a con in one area a total plus in another so.....steering isnt same either, little more vague and cpl other things as well.....its not just 1500 with stiffer springs its whole different truck altogether......feel nothing alike in any area except the interior which is exactly the same

i had a 2019 RST 1500 and now own a 2020 2500 HD......they dont feel even remotely like same truck, load up the 2500 and it becomes a dream to drive......but cant imagine any 2500 to drive like 1500.....i have a slight pull but no wobble........the moreweight the better they drive for sure

I run a seal light kit made for halogen housing and no compalints....but am sure there are quite a few

are bilstein 5100 fronts same as 2019 models......checked their website and part numbers are same for both years but want to be sure.....i can call them on monday i suppose

these are exact issues i have with the truck ergonomically......you hit it right on head

Yeah it does but can't see gages when in comfortable spot....only dic..... Be nice if wheel telescoped and tilted independently

i have same but even raising it straight up it still tilts forward......denali sounds like whole different animal with better seats altogether......my wheel does same but my tundra had independent function for this......i cant see the guages unless i get the wheel super tall in silverado.......messing with mine for months trying to find a "good spot"......seat base length and foam is most of culprit......you get another inch and softer seats so sure that helps

i have one on mine......its huge

the seats are like a rock and no they dont break in......I always felt the seat base is too short as well and agree for some reason they really missed ergonomics of steering wheel and seating relationship along with seat...the power seat when it goes up it tilts forward so its not really independent......which seems really odd since they been building trucks forever.....i will most likely get seat covers and use a pad.....maybe in year or so they break in better which if so would be totally worth it or just find a wrecked denali and swap seats, lol.....(did not know denali seats were longer)

i bought an LT after looking at what WT and custom offered.....it really didnt cost much more ( maybe 2k at most) and i got all wheel controls and conv 2 pkg.....but interior you want rest is easy....in 2020 no storage and that really killed it for me......power seat, wheel controls, upgraded info, and DIC with radio was what i really wanted.....heated seats and wheel are nice but not necessary and dual climate is kind of a joke....( passenger is 2 ft away) and i kinda like how single climate operates.....wish i got bucket seats (again!) but there wasnt many available.....thats only upgrade i will do......truck does everything and more and leather is no good for me i would rip it to shreds at work.....i also got 18" wheel pkg for $500 and what a deal really from GM.....mine was 41k (MSRP 49.9k i believe) and a custom was 39- 40k.......tax in long beach is 10.25% but still got decent deal..... in any new silverado the power seats are big deal as hood is massive.....am 6ft tall as well but stock seats are too low....same in 1500 LT is great all around trim.....get most of the stuff and price is still reasonable....

they for sure dont steer like a 1500...every 2500 owner ive known says same thing, ..mine feels fine just not as accurate as 1500 i came out of....its just the way they drive.....the more weight the better it gets

this is what i do......can care less about an extra 40 steps, i walk all day at work anyway

i have auto dimming mirrors inside and out and cant really notice a difference from ones that dont...

thats what i read as well.......i ran 91 a few times couldnt tell a difference

they are super beefy but any will work for what your doing....there are a ton and lots of comparisons.....

i have large sums of cash at times for work and it always stays on my body 100% of the time, and i am no bad ass by any means but rather it with me than without, lol.....

GM sells the Trail boss lift kit for 1k....you can install it on any base model silverado and there is your trail boss.....i bought my 19 RST for this very same reason and was going to do this conversion but went to 2500 HD instead....was going to sell my new stock wheels for $1600 and buy new TB wheels for 2k...i would have had an LT TB and saved 10k in process TB is just a simple rancho lift and wheels

another dude last year tried same thing with same result........there is a thread on this somewhere, its been a big topic

not necessarily....its only about $1800 between a custom and LT trim and if you can buy and finance the right way you can save there too.....TB if needed/wanted is easy to replicate as well in aftermarket.....GM sells the kit so just depends how you go about the whole process.... adding interior is a PITA but suspension and tires is super easy std LT Z71 4x4 all star and do gm lift for 1k.......add rims and tires when stock ones wear out....
