  1. I have a 2020 Chevy Silverado LTZ double cab I got in March it has 12800 miles and I have not had any problems. So far it's been the best truck I have ever had and I'v had a lot of Chevy trucks. From what I have learned it will be the last model year for double cab LTZ trucks. So this one could be my last. So yes I would buy it again.
  2. I did a search to find this tread just what my truck did the other day. But my truck has no sd card slot anywhere. The navigation came from the factory so there is nothing to be removed. But as other have said let the truck sit over night and now everything works again. NOTHING fixes itself.
  3. I have mine set to open all door with push of the button on the handle as long as I have fob in my pocket.
  4. I just got done putting my Extang 2.0 hard fold cover from my 2017 on my 2020 Silverado and with just a little adjusting it fits like a glove. Had to put it almost to the cab with just 1/2 inch to spare. I must have asked this question 200 times and got 100 different answers but YES it will fit and the power up and down work just great.
  5. Those back seats IMO were never designed to sit in very long they are called CREW cab for that reason. My ext cab was designed to hold my junk my stuff. Hey people these are trucks.
  6. I ordered mine on 2-24-2020 was told the next day they accepted it and the build week would be 3-16 so this coming week. Was told it will be built at the Ft Wayne plant. I need it to get here in March I would like the 0% financing, it looks like we are running out of time to reorder looks like 3-26 is the last day they will accept orders. I sold my 2017 truck sure hope it doesn't take to long to get it here. Only about 140 miles north of Ft Wayne.
  7. Does GM financial have a per-payment penalty. I wanted my payment at $710 a month but I intend to pay $1100 a month will I have a penalty every month I pay extra???
  8. So I ordered mine on Monday 2-24-2020 looks like I have a long wait. Dealer said it would be 6-8 weeks at least. They did tell me it would be built in Ft Wayne.
  9. It will fit. I have a Extang hard fold that I bought for my 2017 Chevy Silverado and we put it on a friends 2020 Silverado to see how it would fit. I just ordered my 2020 and I'm going to use it. The bottom of the box is different but the top rails are less than 1 inch different.
  10. So those that know. I got a build sheet from my dealer. They said something about swapping my build for a truck they already had allocated to them. So what do I expect next?
  11. I tell this story all the time. The company I worked for had a parts truck that ran 10 hour a day 5 days a week it got around 1400 miles a week on it. They changed the oil every 6000 mile with Mobil 1 5w30. It was a 1998 Chevy S-10 2.8 auto. The truck was driven 70000 a year. In the 6 1/2 years I worked there that little S-10 had gone threw 2 alternators and 3 starters and had 511000 miles on it and didn't burn a drop of oil between oil changes. Might still be going if it wasn't in a bad accident and totaled it. I wished I had bought one just to haul my crap in. Those miles are for Semi truck not gasoline truck. When I drive by that company even today I still look to see that little s-10 has reappeared ( it hasn't of course)
  12. Used it for what. I just ordered a 2020 that has that inside plug. So I'm asking what would I use it for?
  13. So this is what I ordered. I get it when I get it .
  14. My dealer explained the allocated process to me when I ordered. And I knew to ask about this by reading something on this forum. They said they had 7 more allocated gas 1500 trucks and that they were changing 1 of them to my order to make sure I get my truck. I have been dealing with the same dealer and salesman for 20 years they are very good to me.
  15. I'm sure you don't here this very often I don't want it in 6 weeks I need more time. I'm 20 miles north of Grand Rapids, MI. I was told that they all come by truck and it would be at least 8 weeks but don't bet on it more like 10 weeks. I guess you take what you get then. Sure I'll be happy either way. Just would be nice to have my 2017 gone by then.
  16. Do you know where it was built? I know the farther away from you can mean it has to be put on rail cars and can take awhile. I asked the dealership how long and they said 6-10 weeks but it could be longer. I'm not sure they really know. Good luck bud.
  17. Yes a double cab. My kind of truck, my rear seats are folded up 99.9% of the time and I would like to not let anyone ride in the back ever. That space is for my stuff. All the great info I got on this site the dealer was even impressed I seem to know a lot about what I was ordering. This will be my last truck after 5 years or so I think maybe a Cadillac before I die. Never though I could afford a Cadillac but after buying a $53871.00 truck just maybe I can. This web site has a vast network of all things Chevrolet/ GMC truck. I read here a few hours every night.
  18. I ordered mine this morning 2020 Chevy Silverado LTZ Z71. I was told it would be built in FT Wayne and it should be here in 6-8 weeks. I want to thank all of you great people I have read near everyone posts for the last year or so. I was hell bend on a RST just could not order what I wanted had to go the LTZ route. I'm coming from a Black edition 2017 Chevy Silverado so I guess I have had enough all black and a little chrome might be nice
  19. I got the wheels just no truck yet or I should say no 2020 truck yet. I got a deal of deals on these wheels. I had the same set on a different truck. I got 5 of these wheel brand new for $700 otd. Got them from a performance Jeep builder that ordered the wrong size wheels and they would not take them back. He made me a one time cash offer I couldn't get the money out fast enough. These will be going on my 2020 RST Silverado with BF Goodrich TA LT285/65R18
  20. You seem to know way more than I do about this. I'm still looking at differences when ordering and what I can and can't get. Many things I want I would have to go to the LTZ to get. I'm hooked on the RST look no chrome. But come on not even a wireless phone charger without adding. Dealer keeps telling me that I have loaded up my RST almost to the LTZ level. I'm just waiting until the guy that bought my truck come threw with the money.
  21. This is what I was hoping to here from someone that has done this. I heard near the same on another forum. Thank you makes may discussion easier now. Getting older not looking to go with big tire or a lift. Had to add running boards just so my wife could still get in a stock truck.
  22. Getting ready to order my new 2020 Silverado still going back and forth on what engine to get. It's only like $950 difference but that not it. I don't pull a heavy load anymore so do I need another 6.2 or will the 5.3 feel slow or under powered?????? I'm going with the RST in black with black leather.
