  1. Nope.......checked many times but nothing. Sort of gave up on checking...
  2. Only problem is the gal in that picture is about 90-years old now and wrinkly as hell. Unless your measuring sag.... ?
  3. I love the dual exhaust outputs on my RST.......looks very nice and adds a touch of class IMHO. Really could care less that it is not a true dual exhaust....
  4. Very funny! Try that in July and see how far it sinks into the asphalt.
  5. WoW.......speaking of asses. Geez take a chill, extremely sensitive for any particular reason?
  6. It will be easier if its warmer to install.......it will even be harder to unfold if it's very cold. I see nothing wrong with the front seal if installed properly and the cover is lined up in front before tightening it down to the rails........ but the seal tape might not stick very well if it's real cold. I installed mine myself......don't really see need for another person. Pretty easy installation IMHO.
  7. My 2020 RST rides very nice IMHO....... My wife and many others I’ve taken to places all comment how nice the ride is for a pickup. No complaints at all on the ride quality here. In fact, never had the truck back to the dealer either......not one single issue noted in the first year of ownership.
  8. There are something like 600,000 Silverados sold per year..... If the motor on these trucks seize from the water intake as purported in this thread and Edmunds, we’d have a S-load of reports of trucks with seized motors. Water can not possibly gain access to the 4 foot high intake with 2-3” of water and going a reasonable speed. It defies any possible logic whatsoever..... There is some embellishment or missing information to try and take the blame off the owner and lay it back on GM. Seriously, don’t you think GM tested this on a truck, especially the TB? Come on.....
  9. I had my wife record me backing up in the morning to get the squeaking on video for when I decide to take it in....... Tried it two days in a row..........never squeaked once! Damn..... Guess that's the cure......just hook up a cam to record it and it will never happen. ? I'm beginning to think it's a little bit of rust forming either on the metallic pads or rotor that causes the initial squeaking, then once burnished off the squeak is gone. Humidity, duration of sitting, and temp may play a part in this.......not quite as concerned about the issue now.
  10. Love this color, beautiful. Problem is it would be the same as my shadow gray metallic, shows dirt and grim way to easily IMHO. With Winter road salt I almost have to wash my truck every day to keep it looking decent. ?
  11. What brand and grade of PPF did you have? I've had Xpel Ultimate on several vehicles, including my motorcycles and never had an issue as you describe. Not all film is created equal or of superior quality.
  12. Never knew about this issue when I purchased my 2020 Silverado...... I kind of wanted a sliding rear window when purchasing but my pick of the lot RST did not have it included. Seeing this, I'm pretty happy I purchased one with the solid window.
  13. Had my 2020 RST done, the whole front critical areas......Hood, bumper, mirrors, headlights, fog lights, fenders, door edges, etc. The RST has a lot more painted surfaces so wanted it protected good, got it in and done right after I left the dealership. Xpel Ultimate gloss...
  14. 2020 RST with 5.3 8-speed.... Zero issues with the transmission or otherwise......this truck has been flawless so far and never been back to the dealer. Owned it for just shy of 1-year now.
  15. Now you need <wider> mud flaps...
  16. Mine does it only when backing out of the driveway and applying brakes in the morning... Never had it squeak while applying brakes in the forward motion.
  17. I had the Bakflip MX4 on my Colorado and loved it so much I purchased another for my new 2020 Silverado. No cover is 100% waterproof, I get a little dribble now and then but nothing to be of concern. I would never put anything that might get damaged by a little water in the bed anyways......that’s just asking for trouble. Awesome cover and I would highly recommend it to any owner.....
  18. My local dealer never stocked any DC Silverados, I inquired and they said they would never sell and sat on the lot forever. He said they also frown on dealing with any trade-in DC trucks. GM normally doesn’t discontinue something that sells..... To each their own, but the CC sure is nice and gives a ton of room regardless if you use it for passengers or not. Pack it full of camping gear or good space for the dogs. Nice looking truck though....
  19. Vehicle won't start without pressing the brake pedal......so yes foot on the brake.
  20. My 2020 RST CC has the block heater as an option, have not used it yet. Will have to give it a try to see if mine does the same. Is a slick setup with the plug port in front though, just need tp keep the connection cord they provide in a easy to find spot!
  21. Awesome truck......would be very cool to get the Duramax but I just can't justify it for my use. Enjoy!
  22. A lot of cars have full time AWD, so why is it such a wear item on this truck to leave it in Auto (AWD)?
  23. It's a truck, or am I mistaken? ?
