I contacted a YouTube content creator I know in Southern California. He knows a few guys with Trail Bosses (my truck has been in a couple videos). He said another guy he knows has this on his truck and it caused issues with the active aero shutters in the front grille. He had to take a dremel to the Stillen piece to trim it back and eliminate the issue. That's not something I'm interested in doing until I've seen the modified setup. I almost pulled the trigger on this today, but decided to take a step back.

Just 1 truck so far. I never realized the benefit of a truck until I became a home owner. It took a decade since buying the house, but I was finally able to afford the truck. 2020 Chevy Silverado Trail Boss LT 6.2

One of my fog lights on my 2020 anyway burned out, but it was replaced under warranty. Truck wasn't even a year old at that point. New one are $150 because they're also LED.

Has anybody installed one of these yet? I saw a review by Lonestar Hawaiian earlier today and I like the concept, but I'm concerned about quality due to the plastic being different from OEM. Until recently, wireless charging was not an option for my truck. I've been using the power port (formerly known as a cigarette lighter) with a device that has 2 USB female plugs. Even with 2 phones charging simultaneously I found the performance to be very good. I do not use the USB and USB-c plugs in the Infotainment system. Those might go to my kids in the back seat with an extra long cable so it doesn't bother me. They haven't complained yet, so I guess it's keeping their tablets powered up. I don't use Android Auto. I tried it when I first got the truck, using the aforementioned USB port on the Infotainment console, and hated it. If something was wrong with the connection between the phone and cable it would become disconnected. Bumpy roads are good at that. Also, I prefer to use Samsung Music for all the songs (about 2,200) I have purchased and saved on my phone over the last decade+. The music service through Android Auto just not allowing me to enjoy all of my music. Getting back to the topic of wireless charging, I recently installed the wireless charger in my truck. I have no issues with its performance. My phone charges up just fine while I'm streaming music to my truck via Bluetooth. I have a Samsung S21 Ultra 5G. It has a larger battery (5,000 mAh) than your s10e battery (3,000 mAh) and Google Pixel 5 battery (4,080 mAh). Maybe something is wrong with your truck? Maybe something is wrong with your phones? I dunno. I just know that I'm satisfied with how things are working for me.

Sounds like a fuel pump issue via the float. Just a random guess because I'm not very good at diagnosing over the phone.

I saw your other post. Almost copy and paste in the other thread. With that said, I completely disagree with what you said. I've had my truck for a year, and do plenty of mountain driving at night. I'm not talking hills like the Appalachians. I'm talking the Intermountain Rockies. I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about the led headlights, and my previous vehicle had protector HIDs.

I spent too much money on it. I was tired and not thinking clearly. I normally exercise strict control to 1 mod per month, but did the exact opposite last night while very exhausted. Bought the Rough Country dual led grill lights, Du Ha under seat storage with lockable lid, retrax tailgate gasket, and a blacked out Z71 grill badge from eBay.

You could always upgrade to towing mirrors. Just change the wire harness for the mirrors, iirc. The lower convex mirror adjusted accordingly as a durable alternative.

I've literally been across the country in my truck, and driven through all geography this country has to offer. The led lights in these trucks are excellent. My previous vehicle was a Saturn Outlook. It had HID projector headlamps. They were good, too. Only complaint I have about the Silverado led lamps is how high they are. I feel so bad for the cars in front of me when stopped at a tree light at night that I turn off my headlights until the light turns green and they get going. I've noticed my lights are blinding the driver via their rear view mirror or side mirrors. I watch then mess with the mirrors or put their hands up to block the light. I wish GM would use the current technology on the trucks to turn off the headlights when the truck is at a complete stop and there's a car stopped a few feet in front of you. The tech is already there. Just need to integrate it appropriately.

The 6.2 has a larger bore than the 5.3, which means the block is wider. And, the rear is the same size in both trucks. My 6.2 TB LT has the 3.23 rear.

Agreed. Those who know how to turn a wrench understand stuff breaks and can be repaired. People spend a bunch of money and demand perfection, but forget they spent a bunch of money because of inflation with a side of politics. $60k yesterday got you a whole lot more than $60k does today.

Your concern about legality is questionable. The letter clearly states you didn't receive a new label, like you indicated in your first post. The letter said if you wanted a new label you could go get one from your dealer. As it sits right now, the sticker on your truck still says 9300/930. An inspector/cop will look at that, see the numbers on your trailer, and say you're good to go. It's not what you know, but what they can prove. If you kept that letter in your glove box they'd still have no way of knowing the change in the numbers because they won't have a warrant to search your truck. To get a warrant they need to list what they are looking for, and where. How would they know about the letter? From where I sit, you aren't worried about legality. You're worried about your integrity. None of us can help you with that one.
