  1. A quick look at Lowe's and Amazon reveals diamond plating available for purchase. A little creativity and workmanship could solve your dilemma. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

  5. There's a reason white is the #1 color for cars. It's obvious to see. Iirc, red is the most ticketed. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  6. I'd probably start with opening the app, creating an account, and pressing the "..." button in the upper right corner for assistance. Just a suggestion. Not exactly sure what your issue is so maybe starting there will help. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  7. My money, my car. My kids have no say. They should consider themselves lucky that I spend a few coin for some convenience features for them. The moment they started making a mess in the backseat (dropped Legos, dropped french fry/chicken nugget) I bought a seat cover. It catches almost everything, and they're required to clean up the mess. Perhaps a seat cover would make the back seat more comfortable for the OP's teenage kids. I recommend this one. Also available in brown and gray. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  8. If you have a TB LT without the midnight appearance package, then your in the same boat as me -- no HID with your LED. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  9. I have no idea. Sounds like you know more than me. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  10. I've driven that bridge before. Anything like that happens and you have no choice but to hit it. Trucks can be repaired. Are you okay? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  11. That's all I wanted to know. Damn the truck, get the meat. The truck can be fixed. It'll buff right out. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  12. They are. I completely agree with that. My truck came with the tow mirrors from the factory. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  13. Washed my truck with a high pressure sprayer the other night. Still no leak. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  14. My neighbor has a 2020 Custom Trail Boss with 5.3 and 6-speed. He has less than 3,000 miles on the truck. It's his daily driver, and he tow a small toy hauler in the weekend to a place only 2 hours away. Engine already failed at 1,100 miles. Now his transmission is overheating. Loaded up, he not over the towing limits on his truck. Dealership said there's an issue with the trans valving. I'm not an expert on transmissions, and I have no idea if what the OP is experiencing could have anything to do with the trans valving, but thought I'd post up just in case there is a correlation. 15. HID LED vs LED. Turn signals are also LED. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  16. No. My kids do. It's my truck, and I want them clean. Kids don't give a F. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

  18. Yes. I'll be upgrading to a Du-Ha shortly. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  19. My truck is my daily driver. I'm also the primary caretaker of my children. Therefore, they spend more time in the back of my truck then in the back of mom's SUV. I've been on many long trips, and had the kids in the back seat. One of those trips was east coast to west coast. None complained about the rear seat. Personally, I love the rear seat storage. That's where I keep handguns. I'm not kidding. A handgun and a few loaded magazines in each compartment. Since you mentioned you go on long trips with the family, I instantly thought of camping and couldn't help but think how a 10mm in one of those storage compartments was ideal for camping should an uninvited predator come to play. 20. I've never understood why people buy a truck to replace a window. I buy a truck to replace a truck. Is the truck broken? If not, don't replace it. If the window doesn't work, fix it. K.I.S.S. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  21. I have kids. They sit in the backseat. With kids come messes. Those nurses occur in the backseat. Therefore, I have these mats. When I take my truck to the carwash I pull these mats and clip them to the wall. I then high pressure spray them to get all the grime, gunk, and garbage off them. I throw them in the bed of the truck once in done with the carwash, and then let them hang dry at home in the garage. Once they're dry they go back in the truck (following a vacuum of the interior, of course). Never really had an issue with getting them to interlock. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  22. Just got home from won't the truck at one of those DIY places with high pressure sprayers. When I got home I checked for leaks. Almost at 14,000 miles in 9 month. Still no leaks. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  23. Today, got a dent in the front passenger door from a baseball at my son's game today. Was it a foul ball? Nope. I park too far away for that. Kid that was warming up in the bullpen couldn't throw and managed to clear a 6 foot fence with his bad pitch. It was the 2nd time he hit my truck today. First time was the rear passenger door window. I also washed my truck tonight. I then looked for leaks in the rear window. Still none. Washing allowed me to take a closer look at my truck's new dent. Paint is fine. I can fix the clear coat in my driveway. Hopefully PDR will remove the dent. Wife is deploying in late summer, so I'll take that time to have the dents removed from my truck. I'll just drive her car while it's in the shop. Also, I have a fog light that is acting up. Occasionally it'll come on. Other times it won't. When it comes on it won't stay on. I've seen it flashing while I was driving around. I took a look at it and discovered the light and housing are 1 assembly. I wonder if the dealer will replace it under warranty, or if the dealer will tell me it's a normal wear & tear item. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
