Imo, yes, but you'll hate doing it. However, you don't need to pull the whole grille out to swap bowties. You just need to port the top out enough for you to get your arm in and be able to work in there. Iirc, I didn't pull my grille out completely, but I think I had a bit more room than 3 inches to work with.

You don't need nav to make this work, however I don't know if it's plug and play. I have a Trail Boss LT. It came with the USB card reader, but that trim doesn't even have nav as an option from the factory.

My method is download music onto phone, plug phone into computer via USB, then copy file to SD card. I but my music via Amazon.

None of this makes sense. First, the GM tune isn't free. The cost for the CAI is about double what everybody else is charging. The tune is included in the cost because the cost of the tune is part of the package. If you "follow the money" you'll see the aftermarket CAIs are $300-$350. Now add in the cost of a tune. I've seen some tuners charge up to $250. With the GM CAI the dealership isn't charging you for the tune because GM already did. Whether you pay $350 + $250, or $600 + $0, you're still paying $600. And, since engine production is self measured via guidelines from the SAE, when GM says their engine makes X power stock and X power with the CAI, you know the measurements are comparable since they were on the same machine, in the same building, with the same testing requirements. It doesn't get to be more accurate than that.

I've been using 3M. It has worked very well for me. My last trip pin striped both side of my truck from headlight to tail light. Path had a rock wall on one side, a drop on the other, and overgrown bushes on both sides in the same location. No way to go around, so through it I went.

However, GM can't legally deny a warranty without being able to prove a modification the owner made is the culprit. Should they void your body warranty because you installed an air compressor on your engine? No. What about a suspension component? No. You may enjoy getting screwed over on failing parts that you did nothing to, but is eager your in the minority there. Now, let's stop going off topic. I want to read about a supercharged 6.2 build.

Same thing happened to me last time I went offroading. If you'd like my shopping list of things to get so you can remove those pin stripes just let me know. All you need is a power drill.

Thanks. First time doing something like this, and was very afraid that I'd end up throwing $1,500 in the garbage. I'm glad it's working out well. I'm going to call a few welders today. Hoping to get it in their hands tomorrow.

Cutting is now done. Time for welding, then off to paint. Sorry the pics are garbage. I didn't realize the lens was dirty when I took the pics.

However, if you win your lawsuit you are also entitled to recover your legal expenses via a judgements issued by the court. Just gotta make sure you request that in your filings.

Did 2 things on my truck today. First was the removal of scratches in the clear coat on my right rear door. It was pretty much the whole door. I'm getting pretty good at this. Maybe I'll open a detail shop. On second thought, NOPE. Right after I finished with the bodywork I got back to modifying the Retrax XR rails to work with the GM Accessories sportbar. All cutting is now complete. Work has been checked and rechecked. Time for a welder to close the open ends, then I'm going to hit it with some flat black paint. I'm hoping to have this project completed by the end of the week. Here's a pic of my progress. Sorry it's not the best image. Apparently my phone's camera lens is dirty. Oh, I forgot to mention I order some stake pocket caps from Amazon last week. They arrived today, so I put them in. The pic reminded me that I did that today, too.

I'm just now seeing this thread for the first time. I moved to San Diego back in September. Although I don't have a 2.7, if love to see what comes out of this.

Only for 2021? I have it on my 2020. I did the install myself (except the tune that was done by the dealership). It came with a sticker I had to place under the hood to prove CARB compliance. Seems strange it would be good one year, but not the next, and nothing changed.

Thus, the problem. Those 2 laws aren't being enforced.

I see there's a lot of hate for today's country, yet under the same breath people are saying they like Kenny Chesney and Chris Stapleton. I find this ironic because both of those artists are part of today's country. Listen to American Kids by Kenny Chesney and tell me how that isn't part of the same country pop you hate. Personally, I not only enjoy the song, but a lot of the music that people consider country pop. If it has a good beat, or there's some good instrumentals, I'm going to enjoy it. I love listening to a 6-string. Btw, it's it me, or is Kenny Chesney's American Kids a sequel to John Mellencamp's Pink Houses? Both of these songs I enjoy. But, if you held a gun to my head and told me to pick a modern country band to listen to for the rest of my life, I'd have to go with Old Dominion. They have a lot of great songs, and have written a lot of great songs for other artists. One of my best concert experiences ever was at the Patriotic Festival in Virginia Beach, VA when Old Dominion played. Sun was setting, storm clouds threatening, lightening out in the distance, and my son and I enjoying the concert of his choice. The song I love to sing in my car the most is One Man Band. You'll never convince me this isn't a true country song an old timer wouldn't enjoy.

This song and video are several years old, but still one of my favorites. I'm not a Keith Urban fan boy, but he does have some good songs and can play the guitar really well.

Do I see a Blue Devil (C6 Corvette) on the far right of the 2nd shelf from the bottom in the case mounted on the wall? And, is that a blue GTO right above it? If the answers to these questions are yes, please tell me how much they are. I have identical Maesto displays of those cars in the exact same colors.

Given my unique history vehicles, I think GM already made the Frankentruck that would result between my current truck and a previous car. One of my previous cars was a 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT. Combine it with my 2020 Silverado and you'd probably end up with a Chevy SSR. However, I'd want a manual trans to go with the 6.2 and 10-speed.

Somebody watches too much Back To The Future. McFly had a Toyota. And, yes, you aren't seeing the whole picture. Wife, dog, and 3 kids. Somebody needs to sit in the 3rd row. Dog can have front seat while my wife sits in the 2nd row, lol. One seat up in the 3rd row would still be more available space for luggage than my wife's 2017 Traverse. If I had a Suburban I'd likely not do as much camping/offroading since that's a pavement queen vehicle. Or, the wife would make us go glamping.

Please do tell. Where I'm at it's over $4.50/gallon. I don't need much. Just a semi truck full.
