  1. Sonic and Cruze 1.8 and the Cruze Diesel, I think thats about it currently. Everything else is chain drive.
  2. Been through the order guides unless they redesigned anything on the interior and haven't shown it yet, nothing "major". Obviously 8L90 for 6.2, new camper mirrors, rear HVAC vents for rear occupants will show up either for 15 or 16, a new blue exterior color, addition of bodyside moldings, reg cab gets the 8inch MyLink available with or without nav...etc.
  3. Called this one a while back...bout time they announced it. Anyone wanna bet the 6.2 sees highway numbers bump to 22 or 23mpg? City to 16-17? If this trans trickles down to the 5.3 and 4.3, then the Colorado better get 30+mpg to be worth sticking in the lineup, and the V6 version pull atleast 26-28mpg highway and be cheaper by a good chunk. I could see the 5.3 pulling 24 highway and 4.3 25-26 with this trans. This will be very interesting to watch how it all pans out.
  4. I'm gonna say normal. These trucks have a two stage pump as well, which may produce a bit more fluctuation than an older truck.
  5. Power folding are standard and only available on LTZ, LTZ Z71 and High Country, and on GMC, SLE with All Terrain package only, and are standard on SLT and Denali.
  6. Older ones weren't painted either to my knowledge. Wax dipped. The stuff seems to hold up on pressure washers just don't put the tip right to it.
  7. Meh. We have had many people try to swap here at work. They just don't fit right. The bed rail caps are taller than the previous ones and the rail width is different. The only GM cover I have seen that works to an extent is the soft tri-fold. Trade it with the truck IMO.
  8. The GM 6 inch board is our most popular unless customers are on a budget. The 6 inch board gives you alot more footing and security when stepping on them and they are closer to the cab reducing the chance for small feet to potentially get caught in between the board and the cab.
  9. GM dealers will be able to get their hands on Borla systems made for GM Accessories. Apparently they also have something the other guys don't...the OEM GM AFM flapper valve in the system for drone elimination..
  10. My 12 reads the same. Not sure its an exact representation of the operating temp. The thermostat appears to be 195 degrees F? Though GM shows 194 degrees F.
  11. If you are using the GM boards...I think the double cab 07-13 boards might line right up. Not sure on the crew or regular cab.
  12. Mileage may vary. Its a well written disclaimer. Give it some time as your shift points and driving habits over that first 3000 miles have been erased when the truck was reprogrammed. It has to learn your driving again.
  13. Built in 2007 as a 2008 model year?
  14. Correct. I traded in the 06 for this last August. Deal was too good to pass up. Do miss driving a 2500hd though...
  15. Oh why thank you I have to go back to that spot again sometime. Old abandonded building thats wide open. You can drive right in no problem.
  16. From late summer: What I've done: -Sylvania LED 194 bulbs (license plate) - Putco LED interior bulb replacements. - Three different attempts at LED reverse lights. Tried some unkonwns from Autozone, did okay. Next were Putco, better than the first ones for sure. Current set from Retro Solutions...The best! - LED 912 for cargo lamps from Retro Solutions - Body colored bowties. - Winter mode right now. Factory steels with 265/70/17 Hankook iPike RW11 snows. They were Dupli-color wheel paint, dark gray, but now are PlasiDipped black. Factory new chrome center caps. - Magnaflow single side catback.
  17. The charging system is basically computer controlled. It can boost or drop charge based on current system voltage, temperature, etc. The system voltage varies with duty cycle. The more % duty cycle, the higher the voltage output.
  18. 1. Don't think so. 2. Potentially over time. The only thing with grease fittings are the outer tie rod ends. Upper ball joints could see a bit of escalated wear over time, especially if you go more than a 2" level. 3. Minimal on the mileage 4. Don't think so. 5. Yes. 6. If its a leveling system like the Rough Country bottom strut spacer or Ready Lift top strut spacer, the strut does not need to be disassembled. The upper ball joint and maybe the sway bar link have to be moved.
  19. The OEM accessory boards mount from the rocker as well. IMO, much better than messing with body mounted ones. No chance of messing the mount up and causing clunks and other unwanted noises.
  20. If you are rotating yourself buy the tool. Will work on just about any GM with TPMS. I have the GM one and it works well.
  21. Front and rear diff and transfer case fluid changes...all GM fluids.
  22. One thing that comes to mind as far as swapping a GM camera for a GM camera is how they mount. The mount on a Traverse camera may be different than one on the Silverado. As far as low light, have you considered a brighter reverse light bulb or adding some sort of extra reverse light? That would help alot.
