  1. They reran the test since Calcium for the AMSOIL EFM is supposed to be 2700 or higher. This is more like the other Ecodiedel UOA's I have seen.
  2. I wouldn't think so. To me it's a starter issue if you replace the battery with an equivalent CCA one as you took out. Starters seem to last anymore but there are times that you could have gotten one that is subpar and is going bad and possibly not liking getting heat soaked. Which could cause the slow start. Make sure to check all your grounds as well. One or so could be loose.
  3. 8/13/2025 2022 Jeep Wrangler 3.0 Ecodiesel 5k on oil 49k on Vehicle OLM at 33% AMSOIL EFM 5w-30 9qts Ecoguard oil filter. AMSOIL Diesel Injector Clean with Cetane Boost each fill up. No oil consumption.
  4. Growing up, I went to the sprint car races in my hometown every Friday night. Good times.
  5. Don't know how I missed this, but to me it's a step sideways for the most part.
  6. Nice, what made you go with this cover over the others?
  7. I added a drain to our 6l90 pan. Had a friend weld it in.
  8. This is a local daily driver it seems.
  9. The one tree company that I had come and take down a tree that I didn't want to deal with used an electric saw to trim the upper branches as he slowly dropped them down to the guys to put in the chipper. Light and easy to handle.
  10. Electric chain saw is sweet, more torque better power and battery life has come a long way. I got an elcheapo, electric Craftsman pole saw and it cuts great. I used it for things that it wasn't meant for and it just cut right through no sweat. Now I still have my Stihl gas and my 25yr old Kawasaki string trimmer is purring along all been using Saber at 100:1
  11. You might want to contact GPI, they have a great reputation building LS/LT engines. The Johnson lifters are pricey. https://gwatneyperformance.com/camshaft-valvetrain/lifters/
  12. The Trailboss axle part number is 87862071, same for both sides.
  13. When I swapped out my CV axles to the Trail Boss ones and laid them down side by side, the Trail Boss were slightly shorter. I went with the Eibach 2.0 lift on my 2019 Silverado. My post here.
  14. They are nice compared to the Scan Gauge II. I wanted a little bit better looking gauge and got the Banks iDash Pro. I don't do all the extra stuff so this works for me.
  15. When I first saw that color, the first thing that came to mind is exactly that, they painted in grey primer and then just added a clear coat. Crazy how popular it is. I wonder if they will do the same thing with the red iron oxide primer.
  16. dexos 2 was what GM stated to use in their diesel engines like when I had me diesel Cruze, but then changed the specification to dexos D. dexos 2 is being phased out by 2026. You might of been thinking of dexos gen2, which there is now a gen3.
  17. But what about an oil listed for both gas and diesel? Such as this. https://www.amsoil.com/p/amsoil-5w-40-ms-100-synthetic-european-motor-oil-afl/?zo=521390
  18. AMSOIL's European 5w-40 is dexos 2, I know it's a diesel rating but in the dexos line and it's listed for both gasoline and diesel applications. https://www.amsoil.com/p/amsoil-5w-40-ms-100-synthetic-european-motor-oil-afl/?zo=521390
  19. Hey, I don't have the part number for the UCA's, I just went to Congito's website and put my truck information in. The Trailboss axle part number is 87862071, same for both sides. It turns out the axles when I laid them down side by side from the ones I took out, the Trailboss axles were a little shorter. Which kind of makes sense since when you lift, it looks like it pulls the wheels in slightly, but I could be wrong. No issues with my setup. I installed the Cognito's because of all the chatter online about the factory UCA's going bad with a lift. Even though it isn't much of one, I felt better and since I was in there anyway, it made it easier to do. At least changing out the axles isn't a major job.
  20. 92℉ here with heat index of 105℉, this weekend going to be 99℉ with 110℉ heat index
  21. $2.84 for regular here.
  22. I know it is all about money, but I like that Toyota's rear window, the entire window comes down. At least that little hole will still allow people like me to run 16' boards up to the dash to bring them home from the lumber yard.
  23. Well, depends on how well it was maintained. No way of really telling. They could have done 3k oil changes but with what oil? Quick lube bulk oil? It's a gamble. To me depending on what you paid for it, replacing the lifters and cam would pretty much put you in good graces for it to last going forward. Would still be less than a brand new vehicle, which they all seem to be made with lesser quality now a days.
  24. Low quality materials across the board on all manufactures is the issue and sadly it's only going to get worse all in the name of saving money. If you want a new vehicle and want it to last, you basically need to pull the engine and transmission and update it with quality parts, but then who can afford that? Welcome to the world of disposable vehicles.
