  1. 2017 sierrra. 63k Pads are probably half or less on the front. Rotors are gone and warped. Rears? Fluid is down a bit in the master. Haven’t flushed her yet. Looking for replacements....Chevy brake kit is too much. Any opinions on the best stuff out there?
  2. Do you have window vent visors? The internal channel ones?
  3. Is there still the option to adjust max blower speed as there was in the k2 trucks?
  4. One of mine was replaced under warranty.
  5. The line on my 17 was replaced under warranty. Dealership caught it while changing the vac pump. Truck had 56k. Just a FYI. Wonder if the new cable is a updated design?
  6. Having two k2 trucks, your factory shocks are garbage when brand new. Whoever fixed my quote in their post can go F themselves. Your psi creates a firmer ride, making your suspension work harder, and taxing out your shitty shocks that are older than last year. Change your shocks. Done. Best 400 I’ve ever spent on both my 2014 and 2017.
  7. I matched the door panel trim on my Sierra slt z71 i installed the console before i got the harness. One 110v and one 12v work. I bolted it in the rear and at the front bracket. Pulled the truck side wiring harness and put it on the driveshaft/trans hump. Once i got the harness, it was under an hour start to finish. Make sure you get 2 usb mini b to mini b off of amazon. Best mod yet.
  8. Just to follow up ended up selling the crew cab running boards to someone else for 180. Never got to try cutting them down.
  9. What’s involved with installing the electric pump from the vettes?
  10. My pedal has started to get hard when parallel parking and backing into spots. I have an apt at the dealer Tuesday and they better change it. What at are some symptoms? Mine is a hard pedal when I’m in parking lots and my vac pump has had a loud tick once per engine rev ever since new.
  11. My dad bought a 2003 brand new. his chrome running boards look better than mine off of my 2017. 16 new England winters vs 2. Such a shame
  12. That’s what I’m hoping.
  13. Wheelbase is not the same...Sorry forgot to mention mine is a crew 6'6" bed OK...I'll give it a shot. Thanks
  14. All, I have a set if OEM crew cab running boards for my 2017 Friend of mine has a double cab 2017...hurting for $ and I'm willing to give my boards to him. Will they fit minus cutting them down on each end and reinstalling the plastic end caps? The crew cab boards have 4 mounts - how many does the double cab have? Can anyone measure the overall length for your double cab set? Maybe the mount points where the boards bolt to the mounts? Thanks
  15. i remember reading that there are issues with the door harness chafing. id think to pull the panel again and go over all wires and look for fraying.
  16. Just took it for a 55 mile or so test drive. It’s always an uneasy feeling to drop 500 bucks not really knowing what the results could be. This truck is so much smoother and more relaxing to drive. There’s more useable power and when at low cruising rpms, you can give it light throttle and it’ll accelerate with out downshifting like an ****. The trans TC shudder is gone. No more guessing to lock/unlock/downshift. Got 18.0 avg mpg over 25 miles and 18.1 over 50 miles driving between 70-75-80 the whole time. The truck is leveled with bilsteins, and has 275/60/20s on aftermarket rims. Just by putting the slightly larger rims/tires on, I lost over 2 mpg before the tune. Part of me wishes I went with a better octane/more aggressive tune, but I’m really happy with it and it was worth every penny. It also feels like the truck vibrates less at highway speeds. I did get it aligned and wheels balanced before the tune, but this feels even better. Screw the 6 speed tsbs. Just tune it and be done with it. Anyone in New England, I have a great tuner in RI. thanks all. Mike
  17. Got the truck done. Feels much better shifting but haven’t had it on the highway yet. Stuck with 87/89 fuel. Gained 20 tq and 20 hp average. Tune was done on a mustang dyno. Max tq 269 at 4100 rpms and 259 hp at 5500 rpms. Ill have a better feel for it once I get a tank of fuel through it and will report back. What are normal hp/tq gains when tuned ???
