Are Hd Frames The Same As Non Hd

I replaced my 04 3500HD Sierra frame with a used one but now with the 305 bfg's back on an torsion keys turned up the tires still rub and the keys are up to the point where it rides like a tank. Does the HD frame have different body mount heights than the non HD frames

Yes, the HD frame is about 2" wider from top to bottom.

Yeah.. as mentioned above. 2" difference (Bigger) A body lift should fix the problem.

So did you replace the frame with another 3500 frame, or did you use a 1500 or 1500HD/2500LD frame? From what I understand the 2500HD and 3500SRW frames are the same, just the 3500 has more leafs in its spring pack, and the front coils have a different spring rate. I could be wrong though?

the frame was definately a 3500 but not certain if it was hd

it was an insurance write off that i rebuilt, frame was hit hard in the front the truck rolled
