Xm Artist/song Display Help!

I got an 08 Sierra a couple of months ago and I noticed that my radio can't display both artist and song at the same time when I hit the info button. I was wondering if this was normal since my buddy's 09 Silverado's XM radio can and will display both if you hit the info button. Does anybody know if they changed this for '09 or do I just need to mess around with my settings. Thanks
