Corsa Touring

Well as promised, I have some pics and videos of the new exhaust. I am VERY pleased. It is just what I wanted and more important the wife is happy. It has a very good tone at idle, quiet at cruising, NO DRONE, and nice sound when on the throttle. There is very little interior sound, so if you like a lot of noise in the cab, the touring is not for you. But, if you like knowing your truck sounds good outside and don't want all the cab sound, it is perfect.

The install took all of 20 minutes. I used the stock head pipe since it is the same size as the corsa. I just cut it off just behind the hanger, slid the muffler on and installed the tail pipe and tip. Tightened the clamps and done. Perfect fit.

So, if any of you Crew Cab or Extended cab guys are wanting a Corsa system and are not wanting to shell out a $1000 or wait around for a used system on ebay, Justin has one more of these systems for $450.

It was very windy when I recorded these. Hopefully, that doesn't cover up too much of the sound.

Just Noticed at your speeds, how low your RPM's are compared to mine.. Surprisingly I still get decent mileage.

That is because he has 3.73's. But you probably already knew that. :freak:

Yeah, there are times I wish I had the 4.10's, but since the Black Bear tune those times have been much fewer.

I was extremely impressed with my mileage on the way to OK. I had a decent tail wind and drove 75 most of the way. I averaged 19.6 on the way there. Now on the way back it was a different story. I drove 80 most of the way and was going against that wind and I averaged 15mpg.

+1

If I were to do it over again, I would have just ordered the NHT pkg with the 17" wheels and 4.10's. I "thought" I wanted the 20's and 3.73's, but the 20's are long gone and I could use the 4.10's now. Oh well.

What octane of fuel are you using?

Yeah, I knew he had 3.73's but that's quite a difference in my book. 19.6mpg is solid mileage for a big truck. Speed does hurt though, the faster you go with these 6.0's the more it hurts.

93 All the time. Well unless I fill up in OK, they only have 91.
