Ac Cutting Off

I have been having a problem with the A/C on my 99 GMC 1/2 ton van. Occasionally the compressor will stop and not come back on. I have found that to get it back on all I need to do is romp on the accelerator once or twice and cool air starts to flow again. It seems to be becoming more frequent. A guess was that it might be related to the cutout switch that shuts of the compressor when under heavy load/acceleration. When it's all, A/C works great.

Probably one of two things:

1. Pressure switch is messing up. try wiggiling the wires to see if it cuts in and out.

2. Gap on clutch is a little too wide. Tap on end of clutch to see if it engages.
