2008 With Nav.

Hi All!! I just bought a 2008 Chevy 3500. It has the factory Bose with Nav. The dealership said it would also play a dvd with it in park. My question is when I put a DVD in it says disc error. Any help would be great!!

There are two Nav systems. One that will play only CD's (regular and mp3) and one system that is available with the RSE that plays DVD'S on the front screen in park and plays on the rear screen all the time even when driving. If you don't have the RSE then you have the CD only Nav system and can only play CD's. You can buy the DVD system and replace your head unit without adding the RSE but it is expensive.

That is what I was thinking...... I have the headrest tv's but they each have a DVD slot in them.... I was wanting to be able to play a DVD in dash....
