Radio buttons activate it either on the radio or the steering wheel controls

This is as easy as it gets. pull a wiring harness off of the XM module (behind the glovebox) and plug into the Bluefusion box. Then plug the box into the XM. The only thing that takes a little time is running the microphone wire somewhere where you want it

I've been waiting a long time for something like this for my truck. I've been using a Motorola T505 and it works great, but its a visor clip setup and you have to recharge it. I bought one of the scosche units this morning, review to follow.

It uses the existing mic and wiring. Just plug and play, no extra mic, uses existing buttons, mutes automatically. You loose the Onstar box... no biggie to most of us.
