Is There Any Quite Aftermarket Muffer Out There?

I have a 2007 silverado with 4.8L engine

 

and I installed the straight pipe right after i bought my truck..

 

I don't really know much about the exhaust system so I wish somebody can tell me

 

what part I should buy if I want something that is quite..

 

this is my truck and it is pretty loud .. Help me!!

ummm it's called a muffler

 

I'd install borla, corsa db, or magnaflow if it were me. Or put the stock setup back on?

Run two of these in succession and that should give you the same straight through flow as a straight pipe, but be much much much quieter.

For a quiet but good sound that won't drive you crazy while driving down the road with a load, try a Flowmaster 70 series muffler. At an idle it almost sounds stock, but opens up a little with some go pedal.

I have a 50 series Flowmaster on mine....quiet until the loud pedal is pushed then it's a growl that sounds very nice. Nothing loud about it, but not tame either...perfect tone for me.
