Camera/vss Kit From Ebay?!?

I have put a Nav unit in my wife's 08 Equinox. I have not been able to fine ANY useful information about this mod. So I decided to go it alone and blaze the trail. So far things are going great! I plan to do a write up in case someone like me wants to add factory Nav system in the future.

 

So, my question is has anyone used this kit from ebay?

 

 

It is listed for the trucks and larger suv Nav systems. I emailed two different guys on ebay to ask questions about the kit and haven't gotten any warm fuzzes about buying from them. However both said it would work with the Equinox. I asked both for a copy of the install instructions but both have ignored the question.

 

First off has anyone done a kit like this?

 

How does the rear view camera activate with this harness?

 

How does the voice connect to the onstar box?

 

Anything else I should know?

Bought my rear view camera and wiring harness thru this company for my 09 Silverado, had to have the dealer flash the factory nav unit, took 5 min. and did not even charge me! Works and looks just like factory with lower lux and wider view! http://www.rostra.com/
