Another new guy here. First truck was a '65 Chevy stepside and since then have owned Isuzu, couple of Dodges, Toyota, Mazda and now just bought an '08 GMC Sierra SLE ext cab 4x4 off Craigslist. This thing is a huge change over the light little Mazda and the handling on twisty roads will take some getting used to, but I really like the truck so far. Very quiet and comfortable on the highway. Good to be back in the GM club again.

 

Only problem/weird thing I've seen it the defrost only clears the driver's half of the windshield. Any ideas on what could cause that? I still havent' figured out the dual zone climate control yet.

Possibly something stuck in the vent, haven't looked at the climate control duct work in any detail it's possible that the ducting for the passenger side became detached under the dash somehow.
