Olm Won"t Reset To 100%

Like the title says, I can't get the OLM in my 2003 K2500 8.1L Suburban to reset to 100%. I just did the first oil change since I bought it, and the OLM indicated there was 9% oil life left when I reset it. I did the reset procedure three times and each time it resets to 87% oil life. Anybody ever see this before?

BTW, I did a search, and nothing like this comes up. Only questions on how to reset the OLM, but none indicating a similar problem to mine.

A few times mine has reset to 98 or 99% but most always is sets 100%.

Are you sure your not recycling 2 quarts of the old oil. Eveyone is trying to do their part to save the enviroment you know :omg:

LOL! Nope, there's 6.5 qts of fresh Mobil1 in there. I've driven about 700-800 miles since the oil change and it still sits at 87%. Not sure what to make of it.

Thought they didn't put OLM percentage on the trucks until 2007.

My 04 has it, just use the steering wheel controls to scroll through until it comes up.

I wouldn't be concerned about it, unless you cannot read a calendar or read an odometer. :D You might try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes, then reconnect it. OLM should say tell you to have the service done soon. Try re-setting again. I haven't seen this problem before
