Amp Install And Dic Question

after reading several threads on the nbs silverado amp installs and the problems with the door chime being amplified.

I also read that the DIC mod allows for the chime to be adjusted(?)

would this help solve the amplification problem?

 

I have a 4 channel amp and the upgraded speakers I bought awaiting install.I bought the adapter for the factory harness and already installed that.

 

Built myself a sub box for under the back seat and will be looking into some 10" subs and a seperate amp to run them.

Was just curious if the DIC mod would eliminate the complaint about loud chimimng etc,..

and if I should factor on doing that at the same time?
