I bought this off of a member here back in Jan. and still havent had a chance to put it on my truck, and today while cleaning out my garage i found it up on a shelf where it ended up when it came in mail

Does it plug into trailer plug?? Come on when shift into reverse??

no, it has a trailer style plug on it that u can use to disconnect it for whatever reason but it is a 3 wire setup...

 

black , red , yellow.....

 

black is ground

 

red is power from battery (i believe)

 

and yellow taps into reverse light wire which comes with included wire quick clips...

 

The unit has a built in relay on it... also has a switch on back which allows you to override and use the light w/o having to turn on truck / put in reverse.. helpful for hooking up trailer !!
