Remotes 2007 Suburban Not Working

I have a 2007 Suburban. Recently the remotes have stopped working. I replaced the batteries to no avail. It works for about 20 seconds after I leave the vehicle then stops. The vehicle does not respond. If I continue to press the buttons after I leave the vehicle it continues to work. When I stop, after about 20 seconds is when the vehicle stops responding. Can anyone tell me with certainty where the actual receiver is? Any ideas of what could be wrong?

  Remote window operation is on. Your fob is being activated in your pocket and is putting pressure on the unlock long enough to trigger the remote window down feature. You can turn it off in the vehicle settings. Or, if you want it on, consider changing where you are putting your key fob on your person.

  After nearly 3 years of waiting I finally got rid of the chrome wheels. They were just too much. Next are the factory running boards. Very functional and sturdy but too bulky and they stick way out. Just my opinion anyway.

  Do you have the second key fob? If so, wrap the one you have been using in foil or take it to 100 feet or more away from the truck. Drive the truck with the other fob for a few days to see if it still happens. If it appears to be caused by the fob, maybe the button is stuck on (I think it’s the unlock button that lowers the windows if you hold it down). I have had that happen a couple of times on other cars due to the button getting pressed by something in my pocket. More often the panic alarm has been pressed. I try to carry only the fob in that pocket now.
