Hi I am new to the forum. I recently sold my 1999 GMC Sierra Z71 and am looking to purchase another GMC crew cab 4x4. With everything that is going on with GM and the reduction in inventories, does anyone know what incentives GM will come out with in October. They are currently offering up to $6000 in rebates for older slower moving inventory. Unfortunately the truck I like does not qualify for the $6000. I don't want to pull the trigger today and find out that I could have saved a few grand a week later.

Not sure about GMCtrucks but I do know a lot about buying Chevy's. My mother is a GM for 4 dealerships to include Cadi, Volvo, Ford, and Nissan. I was just doing the same research buying a truck. She was unable to get me a good deal through Chevy but was able to tell me minimum price I could get them to budge. Also a good prediction in what the incentives will do till the first of the year. For Silverado 1500 , incentives should stay at 6000 and at the most jump to 7000. Highly unlikely. Rebates are not the big factor for dealers. Thats through Gm. They will just come down more in price so they get it off the lot before the first of year. As far as prices. I bought a Silverado Z71 Crew Cab LTZ fully loaded. Sticker was at 47,000. Mother told me minimum price dealer could sell it to me was for 37,600. I got them down to 37,850. then got the rebate for 6,000. Paid 31,850 for it minus my trade in. Mom told me it was a steal. Chevy is definitely trying to sell. Hope this helps.

Wow. $15,000+off MSRP is great. They have only discounted the truck I am looking at $7000 including $4500 rebate. They are selling it to me at supplier pricing less rebates.
