Color Matched Door Handles

I contacted GM Parts Direct for part numbers for color-matched door handles and they gave me the numbers but only for unpainted handles. They said they weren't sold pre-painted. Have any of you guys purchased door handles pre-painted? I thought I had seen some who had.

i bought some for an 04 sliverado that i had. all four silverbirch straight from the dealership. they did have the tailgate handle also.

Only problem with color matched handles are scratching from rings, my friends handles are all screwed up from this, he hates them.

The only thing on ebay right now is a set of 4 for $209. You've got to be kidding me.

I found a set of four white color take offs for $100. Yes $209 is ridiculous. Just hold out until you can find a reasonable deal on eBay.

My mom's Jeep has color matched from the factory, they are starting to turn black from the paint rubbing off.

If you go to a local major car dealership in your area and ask them what vendor they use to paint the bumpers on the trade-ins that come in to the dealership, they usually will have the name of a mobil paint company. I have had them paint scuffed mirrors...$40....bumpers...$75-100....door handles...probably $50 for all 4. Pretty good value. You can also get the handles off of a I believe...a yukon. I believe that they are a direct match to the truck handles.

eBay is great if you have a color that is readily available. My truck is Stealth Gray and they are a rare find on eBay. After months of trying to find/win auctions, I ended up ordering mine through the dealership and had them painted. They look great, but they cost me more than $209, so if you can get them for that price....go for it.

 

They wanted $198 for the handles, but afterwards they ended up matching GMpartdirects.com's price of $149 after I asked them to cancel the order cause I could get them cheaper there. Then I had to dish out another $148 for paint.

I got mine for FREE from the salesman who sold me my truck. He pulled them off of his Yukon XL, so yes, they all interchange.
