Blower Resistor And Pigtail Wire Replacement

Hello everyone.

I'm about to order the blower resistor and pigtail wire replacement as the blower doesn't work on most settings anymore. I am hesitant on replacing the pigtail wire. I realize that replacing the resistor is a simple plug and play but splicing the wires on the pigtail has me hesitant. I would like to do this myself but could use some guidance please. For example do I need to disconnect the battery? How do I disconnect the old wires and splice/reconnect the new ones? If someone could list the proper procedure I'm willing to give it a go.

Thanks for your time and effort!

ya do one at a time ,it comes with the same connector ,you can get fancy and cut them on an angle to prevent a bunch of butt connectors taped together in a big mound ,but if you can;t get the connector swap ,maybe I should have not mentioned that lol.sry ,tech humor

dealer charges maybe and hour to do it---right,,

just keep the key out or off ,don't disconnect the battery, they are easy,,,use a small tiny torch or lighter to shrink each butt connector as you go ,its easier,
