Wrecked Old Truck.. Getting A New One.. Few Questions

Well last friday i swerved at a deer and ended up losing control :/ flipped my 04 2500 and totaled it. Well i know. shoulda hit the ****er. But anyways.. got insurance money and about to get a 08 sierra 1500 all terrain edition. I have a few questions.

I want to run a true dual exhaust.. Wat needs to be done?

Would a 3 inch suspension lift kit on top of a 2 inch body lift look bad? what size tire would i be able to fit?

I got nothing except:

Glad you're OK. And remember, hindsight is 20/20. :P

I'm glad you're ok. But, maybe you should have just hit the deer. You had the bull bar/ grill guard. But, then again, when something like that happens, you pretty much react by instinct.

what good would a bull bar do. You might have a chance with a grill guard, more support on those but a bull bar? those things are just for looks. As for the Grill Guard, I sure am glad I never got one for my Sierra, the headlights would look very.. gay.. Not to bad a looking for the Silverado though.

i think that's a natural reaction- trying to avoid a collision altogether. glad you came out uninjured, good luck with the new purchase :smash:

Glad to hear that you're ok. Not too sure about the exhaust, but on to the lift. For the cost of a quality 3" suspension and a 2" body lift, I would recommend a 6" suspension. It will cost about the same and give you that extra inch. As far as tires go, if you stick to your original plan I would go with a 33x12.50. With 6" you can run 35's with trimming, although 33's would still look fine.
