Friend has 1999 Chevrolet Silverado, blows air on all setting but not hot air. I don't think it's tstat. I was searching on Google found some write ups about same problem, said was Blend Door Actuator. Anyone no where this is at, how to get to it. and diegram for it. thanks

His controls are Manuel

If your problem is no hot air, then pull the hoses off the heater core and try flushing it. If that is the problem flush the whole system as well.

Don't get it, well friend talked to a gm mechanic about not having any heat. Guy said you need to drop your whole dash because there is a Blend Door Actuator way up on the top. I pulled most of his dash apart was feeling in there could not feel that control box thing he was talking about.

So was putting it all back together on passenger side right up from the floor on the left there was a what looked like a Blend Door Actuator I bumped it then the truck started heating.

Trip me out, I even unplugged the thing truck still heated. Was wondering what could have been wrong.
