2002 Gmc 2500hd Onstar Location

I want to purchase the Bluestar hands free bluetooth adapter but I am not sure where the Onstar unit is located on this truck. I looked behind the glovebox and see a box there but the connectors look different then on the CoStar web site. Is this the Onstar unit?

It is located behind the Instrument Cluster under the dash nearest the upper junction of the firewall. On the 2002's OnStar was analog. All the analog units became useless with the FCC mandated transition to digital. I removed mine. Your's can be updated to the new digital unit at a discounted price. Contact OnStar direct by email for the info. This is not advertised or publicly offered due to OnStar's fear of mass negitive response.
