Low Octane Mixed With High Octane

It was discovered in the Houston Tx area. I hope it isn't happening nation wide.

Its been a while ago now but a local BP station station owner around here was caught doing it by the local distributor. The guy was pumping from one tank to the other and the distributors driver happened to go by the station late one night and saw the guy sticking a hose into the premium tank so he parked watched him. Next day he went and dropped a stick in the tank to determine volume, they audited his sales and it showed he was selling more premium than what he was buying.

 

BP came in, removed all their signs, their pumps etc. The guy no longer sells any gas, runs a repair shop. He should have went to jail but I heard he paid some stiff fines.
