Leveling Out The Z

Having the Rough Country leveling kit delivered to the door today and hopefully have it on by the weekend! I want to do it myself and I'm fairly familiar with installing things like this because I had a Jeep Cherokee before that I lifted, but for those of you who installed the RC kit, about how long did it take you to complete install? I'll be doing it with my bro-in-law whose very experienced with anything mechanical. Any and all advice is appreciated!

 

I'll post some pics of it as soon as I can get it on!

I have not installed the RC kit but I have done others. It's a really straight forward install and should take about 1-2 hours depending.

Just follow the directions and it's easy. I have seen people do "shortcuts" and ending up wasting a bunch of time. Also, I have seen folks not torque the nuts on the upper control arm or steering linkages properly (you must hold the shaft with an allen wrench to keep it from turning) and had some real annoying knocking sounds. good luck!

are you getting the 2" kit that goes under the strut or the 3" kit that replaces the UCA?

I didn't take anything off but the struck bolts and I was able to muscle them in about 1 hour
