99 Sierra Intermitent No Start

Hi all,

I've had my 99 sierra 1500 for a little over a year now, just recently have had problems starting.

 

After stopping for maybe 5-10 mins, I get back in and it just turns over, does not start. If I let it sit for another 10 mins it starts no problem.

my bet is you have a fuel pump that is going south ... providing marginally adequate fuel pressure to get your truck started..... and some people will tell you to change the fuel filter if it hasn't been done for a while

 

it could be other things, but.... first off I would get your fuel pressure checked... with the key on, while cranking, and then watch for pressure drop with the key off....
