4x4 Problems

i have a 94 sonoma with 4.3 and the 4 wheel drive will not engage. i have replaced the vacuum actuator, transfer case, transfer case motor, and dash switch so i am running out of options, any more ideas

But I do remember one 1994 4x4 vehicle I owned. I got it used for cheap money. To engage the 4x4 I had to climb under the vehicle with a hammer and pound some part of the transfer case or some such housing. Once that was done, the 4x4 would engage. Obviously, this vehicle had some issues. But I drove it for 3 years until the rust got too far along. I sold it and someone is still driving it.
