So today on the freeway I saw a really clean GMT800 GMC 2wd extracab with a decal on the sides and tailgate that said SS2. Was that a model or package? The decals looked pretty good but they may have been custom. Any one have insight?

Probably the decal or emblem from a 2010 Camaro. I doubt that GM would make a stock truck that comes even close to approaching "SS2" performance levels.

People often go overboard with custom stickers. I once saw a Mercedes Benz with a Vtech sticker on the side. LoL, I pulled up to the guy and told him "When did Honda start making engines for Mercedes?" and he looked at me funny!.
