DuckhunterInTn's Replacement Front Skidplate

I bought one from him to replace the stock plastic one on my truck.  Nice job-made out of 3/16" diamond tread steel and painted or primered.  It bolts right on using the same holes as the stock plate.  Definite improvement.  Here's his info from another thread:

Sounds good, But I have a question, I just looked under my 2002 Sierra and the front skid is Aluminum, and the other skid is steel. I don't have any plastic ones.

There should be a black plastic piece right behind the air dam and right before the aluminum skidplate under the front axle.

Right-you have to remove the plastic one to access the front axle.  Take a look at Duckhunter's photo page.  Actually, I'm not so sure it's meant to be a skid plate as much as it is to keep road or trail debris from entereing the engine compartment.

Nice job.     Although I didn't buy it directly from Duckhunter, I'm very pleased with it.  Looks good too.  I bought it from chevy4x4trucks after his truck was wrecked.  I repainted it silver though.
