Installing Oem 6 Disc In 05 Tahoe With Factory Nav

I have a 2005 Tahoe with a factory touchscreen nav andrecently purchased an oem 6 disc add on and the harness to go with it. I can plug the changer in and put the ignition on acc then unplug the changer for a minute and plug it back in and the nav HU will show the CDX, but will not play a cd (the track time just sits at 0). I am assuming that it is theftlocked, but when I took it to the dealer to unlock it, they said the tech-2 could not even see the cd changer to unlock and reprogram it. What are the actual steps to reprogram it with a tech-2 so that the 6 disc, nav, xm, and rear seat entertainment will all still be recognized? I read somewhere that you may have to use the programing for an envoy or something to get it all to work, not sure if that is the problem or not. Thanks in advance for suggestions and help.
