Best Source/price 5.3lcylinder Heads?

OK guys, I think I,ve got the Castech head problem on my Sierra (104k miles) does anybody have reman heads for these things or what is the most cost effective source for a set of heads. It gets better, I think my wifes Suburban has them too.

Just cause you have Castech heads doesn't mean anything will happen to them...its just a TSB saying that IF you have leakage...this is the first place the tech should look.

 

Now if you have the issue...than you can go to a junk yard and get some heads off anything made 05 (I believe)and newer, (4.8/5.3L) although...some of the 99-04 stuff may not have Castech's either. Just pull the valve cover and have a look for the mark.

I've seen them rebuilt on ebay for $175.ea. Seems reasonable
